I am new to the place and was staying in a hotel and had to quickly find a house. Marketing was fab, with photos taken on the day of the valuation and then a video tour taken by Nikki for their social media. The post offer service has also been excellent and forward thinking, with a WhatsApp group created for ease of communication. A very modern and positive estate agent to work with - a breath of fresh air!

4th Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)It took several fallen through sales before the sale of my Mum's house to go through and Carter Hayward were patient, professional and helpful throughout. At the time we were selling, I lived 50 miles away from my Mum and it was important to us that she felt 100% comfortable with the agent, which she did with these guys. In fact, she described them more than once as 'lovely'! The eventual sale wasn't the smoothest, but they were in constant touch and an effective go between with us and the buyers. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

9th Apr 2024 (17 days ago)Was keen on viewing a house but some 12 year old kid named Mo who they have manning the phones was completely useless in organising a viewing and eventually said that the house was sold despite not being sold. I went and viewed the house at another local estate agent who were very good at organising a viewing. I event put in an offer and gazumped the poor person who had the misfortune of dealing with Mo and Co at Brown and Merry. I am currently typing this review from that very house! Lesson learnt, when selling £500K+ houses don’t put a 12 year old as your front of house!

11th Apr 2024 (15 days ago)Salters Residential sold my mums property, when she recently relocated to the West Country. Due to her age, I looked after her property sale - the only input she made was appointing Salters. It was the correct decision. Alan, Hannah and the rest of the team at Salters are the opposite of almost every other estate agent we’ve used; They are absolutely SUPERB. They fly in the face of your stereotypical agents, as they genuinely care. They are extremely professional, always come back to you (when they say they will), they know your house chain inside out and they are completely reliable. Alan even came back to me when he had Covid. I simply cannot recommend them highly enough, as they hugely lessen the anxiety and stress of a house move. If you are looking for a genuinely superb, professional and honest estate agent, please get in touch with Alan, or Hannah. ????
29th Sep 2023 (6 mo. ago)To owner, I am Pratik Nashikkar, I visited to your kingsbury office on Wednesday 27/09/2023 nearly 5pm regarding renting house. The lady who was attending us was illiterately rude. She don’t to how to talk with customers. For us searching a house is very difficult but we came on some hope, they let me down. I will never suggest to anyone to come and visit to your office. Even though we ask here regarding 2,3 and 4 bhk along with i am suggesting more than 6 area but the rude answer was check online and make weird faces. Thank you owner for demotivating us.
17th Nov 2023 (23 weeks ago)Please avoid renting with them at all costs! You will never get your deposit back. Our flat was 30+ year old and tired as you would expect, which we accepted when we moved in. We lived there only 11 months as the house was poorly insulated, we even had ice inside the house in the winter months, they never fixed it (among other things) so we decided to leave the flat. To our surprise, when we handed over the house, they brought their 'expert', a guy called Mark who has been with them for ages, as an 'independent' inspector, who obviously isn't. They will claim all kinds of non existent changes and damages and deduct if from your deposit! they event claimed is our fault that a crack appeared on the ceiling! AVOID!

He has been superb in the sale of our house and went above and beyond to ensure that our sale went ahead. From the beginning to the end he has had a positive outlook. On our viewings he was bright and bubbly and ensured that the viewers were made aware of the benefits of our property,. When we eventually agreed a sale we had a long process due to the fact that the buyers held up matters, however Rhys would always be pressing to try and speed up the process and always kept us up to date and informed. At one stage our buyer went abroad, Rhys was on calls to our buyer at 1030 at night trying to deal with their queries in an attempt to push our sale through. We can’t thank Rhys enough for what he did for us. He is a real credit to his trade and we would throughly recommend using him to friends and family. 2nd Apr 2024 (24 days ago)Yes, Foxtons charge a higher percentage than other Estate Agents, but in our experience it's been worth every penny. Shoutout to Jodie Ellis, who has been BRILLIANT throughout a lengthy and complex apartment sale. Without her tenacity and personal approach - regular, friendly updates so we never had to ask what was going on - i don't think our sale would have gone through. (We know of other sellers who lost their buyer - not us, due to Jodie's determination!)
