24th Sep 2023 (2 years ago)I dealt with Angela and she went out of her way to assist me regarding a property I was interested in. She was both friendly and professional and offered good communication throughout our dealings. So I can not speak for the rest of Proffitt and Holt as an agency, as I only really dealt with her and she was a very good representive and ambassador of them.

3rd Jun 2026 (17 days ago)AVOID AVOID AVOID<br><br>We had our flat on the market with Haart Abbots Langley for 9 months and only had 5 viewings. Constant excuses and lies from the team, no follow ups and meant we were having to chase them throughout (despite being assured that we would get an update every week). Half of our viewings we only found out about when we called to get an update on how things were.<br><br>Shorab, Tom and Jamie were very dismissive throughout and didn’t seem to have a clue what was going on.<br><br>2 flats in the same block as ours sold within 3 weeks of going on the market using different agents for a higher price than what we had ours on for -Haart had driven down the price as they had kept stating it needed to be lower (which ultimately cost us money in the long term). It became very apparent that the issue was Haart and not the flat.<br><br>Switched over to Foxtons Watford and had 3 viewings and had sold within a week. The two estate agents were like night and day.<br><br>Haart were extremely unprofessional and caused nothing but stress whilst we were with them and their only tactic for selling seemed to be lowering the price -which in our case didn’t need to have happened and lost us money. Please look elsewhere when selling -highly recommend Foxtons!

9th Jun 2026 (11 days ago)After experiencing some issues with our previous estate agent I was recommended to use Foxtons to sell a retirement flat in Watford, and it was definitely a great decision as their customer service has been exceptional, communication proactive and their focus and dedication to get the flat a buyer and then to assist with the selling process made my life much easier, so a big thank you to Jamie and his team, especially Dan ( Sales) and Amber ( Sales Progression ), the whole process was often frustrating due to waiting for solicitors or managing agent but with their help we are completing the sale this week ( June ) after agreeing the sale in February ??????

From my first contact she talked me through the shared ownership process so I could support my 21 year old son to find his first flat. Azra didn't rush us during the viewings and was always on hand and quick to respond to any queries, her knowledge and experience are second to none! I now have a very happy son, thank-you Azra!

From start to finish, the professionalism, service, communication and support we received from Alan, Sam, Paul & the team were outstanding. We felt that, on multiple occasions, they went above and beyond to deliver for us. Excellent value for money and highly recommended.

2nd Jun 2026 (18 days ago)We recently purchased a house with Orchid Estate Agents & Jacob was fantastic. We actually had two viewings in one day the first just was not for us, second we just knew it was for us. Jacob was friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly personable. What was also very nice he was not pushy at all and it felt like he was trying to help us find what was right for us and not just sell us a house. We were first time buyers and to say we had lots of questions would be an understatement. Jacob assisted us with our questions and queries even if it was something that wasn't a question for an Estate agent pointed is in the right direction. We would definitely recommend Jacob and Orchid Estate Agents for anyone looking to buy.

David has demonstrated a 'get stuff done' energy I can only dream of having, as well as real market experience and knowledge that he will honestly communicate in a responsive, but sympathetic, manner. Could not ask for anything more in an agent, above and beyond the call of duty, if only all businesses worked like this.- 21st May 2026 (30 days ago)After nearly a year of stress, delays, and a very long property journey, we finally completed on our new home this Monday, and I honestly can’t thank the team at DKH Rickmansworth enough. What makes this even more impressive is that they weren’t even my estate agents, they were acting for the sellers. Yet throughout the entire process, Josh, Hannah, and Beth treated me with the same care, communication, and professionalism as if I were their own client. There were times during this move where things became incredibly frustrating, but DKH were always helpful, responsive, reassuring, and genuinely seemed to care about getting the move over the line for everyone involved. In all honesty, I had a far better experience with them than I did with my own estate agents. The team went above and beyond from start to finish, and even the thoughtful gift at the end was a really lovely touch after such a long slog. If I ever move again, I genuinely wouldn’t hesitate to use DKH Rickmansworth myself. A huge thank you again to Josh, Hannah, Beth, and the whole team. Wishing you all the best and continued success.

4th Jun 2026 (16 days ago)I highly recommend Rolstons especially their sales progressor - Danielle, who has been wonderful to work with. We were introduced to her during our transaction and she has been very quick in helping us with all our queries and requests. Her promptness and clear communication kept things moving at a good pace and without her the transaction most likely would have been delayed. She also possesses a good understanding of these processes and her perspective has helped us a lot.
5th Mar 2026 (15 weeks ago)I'm still waiting to hear back from an email sent over a week ago , and that was already chasing an unmet promise!! I needed one small thing repaired in the whole letting period. Was still waiting weeks later. Eventually got it fixed myself in two days for less than half the quote House Shaw finally got for me. Will use another agent next time.
