Wasn't the most straight-forward transaction, but Jenny and Rebecca supported us from start to finish, and provided an excellent service. They helped us resolve the many and various issues that arose with endless good humour and patience.

She was both friendly and professional and offered good communication throughout our dealings. So I can not speak for the rest of Proffitt and Holt as an agency, as I only really dealt with her and she was a very good representive and ambassador of them.

15th Jul 2024 (12 days ago)We met Emefa for a house viewing and she was very personable and understood our needs. Her communication has been great as we have been going through the process. Keep up the good work. Unfortunately the house we put down an offer for has fallen through but we felt there was no empathy for the situation from Emefa and therefore will most likely not be going with the agency again. Whilst we appreciate things happen we expected a little care in our case but i guess for estate agents its a simple case of whether they will receive there commission or not.

Ms Azra kept us informed with various reports relating to our properties. She also and very kindly updated us with the legislative side of things by sending us various circulars and publications. So glad I went with them sold at asking price ,they helped guided,were there through the whole process. Unable to be at my property they looked after buyers looked after house. Nothing too much trouble , helped me stay calm through queries and quandries along the way. Ben great through sales and continued process Jane took over to follow through sale she is a saint!!! If we had any queries, however small, they were more than happy to help. They always provided a very humane touch to everything, and always made us feel comfortable. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone in the future, as they are very dedicated and professional.

Would highly recommend!
17th Nov 2023 (8 mo. ago)Please avoid renting with them at all costs! You will never get your deposit back. Our flat was 30+ year old and tired as you would expect, which we accepted when we moved in. We lived there only 11 months as the house was poorly insulated, we even had ice inside the house in the winter months, they never fixed it (among other things) so we decided to leave the flat. To our surprise, when we handed over the house, they brought their 'expert', a guy called Mark who has been with them for ages, as an 'independent' inspector, who obviously isn't. They will claim all kinds of non existent changes and damages and deduct if from your deposit! they event claimed is our fault that a crack appeared on the ceiling! AVOID!

25th Apr 2024 (13 weeks ago)I have to say renting with Regents of Berkhamsted has been fantastic, they have been on point with everything they do and provided such a tenant like myself and my small family everything we needed. never a problem when anything broke down or needed fixing. I was with them since September 2012 and just recently moved back to London for work reasons and a marriage break up. Definitely living the dream as they say. Rental properties here go like hot cakes in Berkhamsted, so you are dead lucky to get one in such a prestigious Town like this. Well moving on I would like to say renting with Regents has been a pleasurable experience for me and I would like to say they are the best Estates Agents by far in the area. Thankyou to all the team there who have supported me for over a decade. ps. I know where I am coming back to buy in future when I reach retirement age, until then all the best!!
