4th Sep 2024 (29 days ago)Karen Marijewko went above and beyond to keep us in the loop at all times when buying our new property, and I truly believe she had our best interests at heart throughout the entire process. In hindsight, we wish we had sold our property with Richard Kendall, but we had already signed a contract with a different one. We are now living in our dream home, and I have to keep pinching myself!

I feel they could have been more determined to not only get me feedback but act on it. They accepted feedback given without further probing. I have gone to another estate agent and have been much more satisfied with them.

13th Sep 2024 (20 days ago)We used Hunters to sell our mother's home, who unfortunately needed to go into a nursing home. The service that we received from them was friendly, fast and very efficient. They quickly marketed the property , arranged numerous viewings and managed those viewings on our behalf. A buyer was found very quickly and Hunters were always driving the process forwards in a personal but professional way, which led to a quick completion. Overall, a fantastic company, who managed the whole process for us brilliantly and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
18th Mar 2024 (6 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

31st Jul 2024 (9 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could

Matthew was excellent in terms of communication and getting the sales through to completion. A very professional but friendly estate agent. Starting with putting together a great marketing package which made our house look better than we could imagine then showing round prospective buyers and handling the resultant negotiations through to a quick sale. The whole process was as smooth as could be and we were kept informed and consulted consistently along the way. We can’t recommend EweMove enough.

I went in asking what properties they had in the area with certain criteria and she replied: I can't do anything for you, you need to go through checks and referencing then I'll add you to a mailing list. Why do you even have an office.
