31st Oct 2024 (12 weeks ago)Usually a viewing is supposed to last 15 - 20 minutes . We travelled all the way from Manchester to go see this property and were running just under 8 minutes late to go see the place due to traffic in a new city. We were informed that the agent had left to be at another viewing , when we pleaded with receptionist to just allow us some time he simply said that the agent had another appointment somewhere else and we'd need to reschedule. I don't know who books these appointments in but booking another location within 15 minutes of another place is just a bad idea. Won't be using these guys again.

There were lots of unexpected hold ups on our end and she dealt with them amazingly and calmly which really helped in such a stressful time. We got the keys exactly on our move in date even though it didn’t look very promising for a while. So friendly and quick to respond, I owe them a big thank you.
25th Nov 2024 (8 weeks ago)I have been using Hills Estate Agents to manage my rental property since February this year. So far my experience has been very good, from finding a tenant for the property to dealing with maintenance issues and keeping documentation up to date as per regulations. Their team has been approachable and professional and communications with them is easy, reply to emails in a timely manner. They also try to correct any maintenance issues quickly and the contractors they has used so far are good and not very expensive in comparison with some others I have used in the past. I recommend their services to any one considering a letting agency to manage a buy to let property.

They were professional and friendly throughout, keeping us informed all the way from the initial valuation to completion - which took nine weeks. Thank you.

1st May 2024 (8 mo. ago)I try to keep an eye out for properties that are empty and vulnerable close to my house but sadly am instead treated like I'm being nosy. Shame as I used to work st Connells. Also so many rented properties are not being maintained and are dragging areas down.

He kept me informed throughout the process and was always prompt at returning calls and providing updates with emails. It was a very positive experience and I would definitely recommend Kimberleys when you are considering selling your home. Thank you very much Ben, Nicole and Louis.

Their communication with us was exceptional, always checking in, discussing the market, making sure we were informed at every step through the process. If we were to move again, we would not hesitate to ask Dan and his team to see our house for us. Thank you. ????
18th Mar 2024 (10 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
14th Dec 2024 (6 weeks ago)I have recently used EmDot to sell my first property. As this was my first time moving, I was spending far too long thinking about it and not actually making any progress. After a quick conversation with Kate, she gave me all the confidence I needed to bite the bullet and get my property on the market. And now I find myself in my new home before Christmas, and I can't thank the whole team enough for all their amazing help, guidance and support. They were true to their word, and couldn't have made the process any easier or less stressful for me. Moving forward, if I needed an estate agent again, I wouldn't use anyone else.
