It was a very sad time for the family as our parents are both now in a care home with Dementia and the guys were very thoughtful, caring and supportive throughout the process We cant thank them enough and highly recommend to anyone buying or selling locally

Dealing extensively with the Brookmans Park office the whole team was always responsive and insightful - particular shout out to Nicola - the branch manager. Attentive and informed - I'm almost sorry to see the transaction complete. Not all agents in Brookmans Park are equal - choose wisely if you want a stress-free process.
26th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)Reviews keep getting reported, and deleted!<br>Text message after text message from them about Karma, and how spiritual and honest they are. While refusing to give me invoices for building works they had managed, and overcharged me for! As I am asking them to negotiate the cost of the roof, they have gone ahead, and started installing the roof! Roofers who replaced roof, threw all the concrete debris into the top floor attic room, through roof opening to save money on a second tip! Only found out after roof had been replaced.

20th Oct 2025 (1 year ago)Used Ashtons as was a prospective buyer of a property they marketed. Not so many issues with the office but the sales progression team were always quite slow to respond and could never get through to the assigned person to my case. Additionally used ashtons to sell my property and I feel compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience. The problems began immediately. The agency provided an initial valuation to secure our business in July, only to suggest a £25,000 price reduction after just one week, admitting there was no interest. Despite agreeing to the reduction, it did not correlate to an increase in activity which would lead to questions around marketing and resource as Ashtons list a lot of properties. By September, they had only managed to secure two viewings. We received absolutely no feedback from either of these viewings, despite requesting it, leaving us completely in the dark. Lastly thier fees are quite opaque and if youre new to selling read through everything very carefully. In the non flex fees there are baked in withdrawal fees that ensure ashtons get paid regardless if they sell or not. Which gives them little incentive to really push your property in my opinion. The alternative is you pay money up front to them to sell your property which is preposterous. Fundamentally all the agents use rightmove to market your property and that's where most people go to find houses. In summary: an inaccurate valuation, negligible effort, a complete lack of communication, and a devious fee structure designed to charge you even when they fail to perform.

Their response time is always quick and they don't just give you answers to what you want to hear, but helpful suggestions and support in this often complex world of real estate.<br><br>Their systems are really user friendly and very helpful to have a dashboard with all the information in one place.

I was very impressed with the level of communication Lisa & her staff delivered & prompt responses when delays by solicitors were happening .<br>In addition , incidental enquiries were dealt with in a considerate manner & handled with speed .<br>The team were all approachable & friendly & highly motivated to get the best outcome for your purchase or sale .
1st Nov 2026 (0 days ago)99h did not stop advertising my home after the contract ended, which meant that I was unable to respond to any enquiries received, which would have harmed my reputation as a seller. 99h did not always approve details/changes within 48 hours as promised, and resultantly, I missed a boxing day deadline. The staff are very quick to get in touch when selling upgrades or extending contracts, but are very slow to respond to queries. For the sake of £99 it might be worth a try, but keep your expectations low.
21st Oct 2026 (11 days ago)Following a long standing rental lease Hobdays were quick into action to upgrade my Flat and find a new tenant. This required extensive planning, time sensitivity and much communication. Hobdays were always readily available and extremely personable in their approach to me. All the more important as I am located in Scotland.<br>The project was complex and needed day by day planning to ensure the property was was turned around in a timely fashion. All dates were completed to the day including the completion date and new tennant's moving in. I cannot speak highly enough of the thorough manner each of the lovely staff interacted with each other and myself in achieving this objective.<br>You Ladies and guys at( Hobdays) have been fantastic and I would 100% recommend anyone to engage them for all matters Rental & Real Estate.<br>Funny enough I purchased the property Hobday's in 1993....good friends for a long time now. Special to Kimberly & Gemma.<br>Brian House

Their team were professional but also very approachable, which made communication easy from the beginning. They listened carefully, responded promptly, and handled the process with good organisation. I particularly appreciated their straightforward way of working and the effort they made to keep everything on track. I would gladly recommend their services.

31st Aug 2026 (9 weeks ago)Would appear the house was over valued by the estate agent so setting wrong expectations about what price could be achieved. Minimal viewings Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage No communication from the estate agent I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.

They recently managed the sale of my late mother’s property in what has been a difficult market, with great professionalism and commitment. They were very pleasant to deal with and communication was good throughout the process. The fact that we eventually achieved a sum well over the asking price was an added bonus!
