17th Sep 2026 (1 day ago)Valuation was too high and we went ahead with it thinking we will get the best value but after 8 weeks we took matters into our our hand and reduced the price by 10% . A huge drop but the property was empty and we needed to sell it . You need to do a bit if research yourself before finalising the estate agent .

Dean Grove came out to give us a valuation and tell us about their services, he was helpful and knowledgable and all round a great guy. They were efficient with organising viewings and sold our property within a week for full asking price. The team in halesowen have been wonderful and i could not recommend them enough!

Their marketing and photographs were excellent, they achieved the price we wanted and kept us up to date throughout the entire process. Very pleased indeed and thoroughly recommend Jake and his Team.

From the very first conversation, Angel Estate agent was different. They took the time to genuinely listen to our needs, fully understood our business requirements, and were very clear about what was realistic within our budget. Rather than pushing unsuitable options, they gave us honest guidance, clear direction on locations, and practical advice that actually made sense for our business growth. What really stood out was their commitment and persistence. They stayed with us throughout the process, kept communication clear and consistent, and worked hard to find a property that truly matched what we were looking for tomorrow not just something to close a deal. In the end, they successfully secured the perfect commercial property for our business, within budget and in the right location. The whole experience felt professional, supportive, and stress-reducing during what can otherwise be a very challenging process. If you are looking for an estate agent who is knowledgeable, patient, budget-conscious, and genuinely invested in helping you find the right property, I would highly recommend them without hesitation.

20th Aug 2026 (29 days ago)Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience with this estate agency as a buyer.<br><br>I initially found the agency to be very accommodating and helpful, so it was a real shame that during the later stages of the process I felt the communication became unnecessarily accusatory and lacked the professionalism and neutrality I would expect from an estate agent dealing with both sides of a transaction.<br><br>After a lengthy conveyancing process, I ultimately decided to withdraw from the property purchase. My decision was made 3 days after receiving the lease and the Report on Title. I could not have reviewed these documents - and therefore come to my decision - any sooner.<br><br>Whilst I completely appreciate that this would have been frustrating for the seller, I was extremely disappointed with the way the agency communicated with me when the transaction was taking longer than anticipated. I was forwarded correspondence directly from the seller expressing her frustration about the transaction. I felt there was no need for this to be passed directly to me and found it incredibly inappropriate and unprofessional.<br><br>When I explained that I had found this uncomfortable, rather than acknowledging my concerns, I felt the subsequent communication became increasingly focused on explaining everything the seller had done to progress the transaction and attributing responsibility (largely to me!) for why the transaction had progressed slowly. The steps the seller had taken to progress her own sale were not something I felt needed to be presented to me in this way....these are things I would ordinarily expect a seller to do as part of progressing a transaction with any buyer.<br><br>When I asked for the emails to me to be reviewed by someone more senior, I was told that the seller is the agent's client. Of course I understand this, but I don't believe it justified the manner in which the agency communicated with me. Unfortunately, I also felt the director's response largely missed the point of my complaint. Rather than addressing my concern about the tone and nature of the communication I had received, the response again focused on defending the seller's position and detailing where responsibility for delays lay. This was precisely the type of communication I had raised concerns about in the first place.<br><br>All in all, the estate agent unnecessarily involved themselves in assigning blame and relaying personal frustrations. In my view, this goes beyond what is necessary or appropriate for an agent's role.<br><br>As a result, what had initially been a positive experience was really soured by the way the later stages were handled, which is a shame.

I took time off work for a viewing, submitted all the requested documents within 30 minutes afterwards, at the asking price without even negotiating, and clearly explained that I needed to secure a place urgently.<br><br>Despite this, I was later told the property had already been let agreed. This happened to me repeatedly, wasting my time and even my annual leave. My credit history and background are good, and I had no issues with the checks.<br><br>They clearly do not value prospective tenants’ time. If you want a smooth and professional experience, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Very poor service.

The team is incredibly friendly, super approachable, and they genuinely take the stress out of being a landlord. Every time I've needed to get in touch, they've been quick to reply and always sort out tenant or maintenance issues with a smile. It makes a huge difference dealing with a team that is so warm, reliable, and professional. Highly recommend them to any property owner

13th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Wouldn’t bother. I recently enquired into a flat and asked about viewing dates, only to be told the flat had already been let. I would understand, most places are bound to be taken quick. The issue I have with their response is the advertisement is still up and active on multiple letting sites, including their own.<br><br>EDIT: I was told 9am on the 11th August that the property was no longer available, I emailed back the same day informing you it was still listed as available on your own site. It is now past 10pm on the 13th August and it is still live.

3rd Sep 2026 (15 days ago)A property was listed for rent on the morning of Tuesday 01/09/2026.<br><br>We rang the same morning as soon as senate opened to book a viewing and was told that we were the first to enquire and they would be in touch tomorrow (02/09/2026) as they had only just listed it and that the lady who will be managing the viewings for it is off today.<br><br>Didn’t receive any calls or anything the next day (02/09/2026) as advised, so following day decided to call on the morning (03/09/2026) and said to them we havent been contacted.<br><br>Different lady answered from the initial call, assume this is the lady who is managing the viewings, told us it was fully booked out for viewings and that it was tough luck. She had a terrible attitude towards us on the phone about it too, as though we were making it up!<br><br>Crazy! Absolutely disgusting! We were first in on that listing. We think it’s because we told them we have a young child on the initial call. They can’t discriminate so they accidentally forget you. Don’t use this company, will be looking into further options of complaint with official bodies with how this was handled also.<br><br>Addition to this review -<br><br>What’s even funnier now is that this property is today 03/09/2026 showing as let agreed now.<br><br>Though the supposed viewings that were fully booked are supposed to take place on Saturday 05/09/2026.<br><br>So how is let agreed? How have the relevant checks been made with the tenants of whom it is agreed with in less than one day from listing, and without even doing a viewing yet either?<br><br>Screenshots and timestamps all taken, can’t wait to to take these questionable practices to the ombudsman.

From initial appointment through completion, I was always treated like a human being. Over the course of the sale, I got to speak with and know most of the team and they all worked diligently, authentically and honestly to get my sale over the line (which also included so many shenanigans from the other side's lender!). I am so glad I chose Archer Bassett. Special shout outs to Stephanie and manager, Mark; also Jo and Stefan too!).
