9th May 2026 (19 days ago)I'm not sure why my review was removed, as this was a genuine experience that I unfortunately had to deal with. I'm reposting it to help other people avoid this business. "Booked two viewings for a rental property through Hilton and Horsfall, both times they did not turn up and failed to inform me of the cancellation. I had literally days before I was moving out of my current property, which was sold. They left me in such a stressful predicament, almost causing me to be homeless. Avoid at all cost."

3rd May 2026 (25 days ago)We recently closed on my old house and I was so impressed with Charlotte and Ben and everything they did to help push it through. We had some issues with a third party but Charlotte was chasing constantly and advising me of her progress. It was a hard slog but we got there in the end and I am so appreciative. Thank you both so much!! I would 100% recommend.

25th Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)Stephen Tew has done everything he promised, the way he said he'll do it, and it's worked. It would've been good to meet with the agent that was showing our property, so we can explain to him more about the property, but overall we're very happy. Quick responses, dealing with queries efficiently and very professional throughout.
21st May 2026 (7 days ago)I would highly recommend tempo , they were so helpful , Claire and Annette were fantastic , I would ring them up for any questions I needed to try and find out , I would certainly not look any further to go with any other estate agents apart from tempo you won’t be disappointed. 5th Jan 2026 (20 weeks ago)As a potential buyer it is very difficult to get through to these estate agents. I have waited over a week for them to get back to me regarding a viewing for properties. They seem to be very adverse to picking up the phone or replying to email enquiries if you are looking to either buy or sell your property I would personally stay clear from this Estate Agent. In addition to this the re occurring theme of discriminatory behaviour is very off putting in the previous reviews as well.

They managed all the viewings, and the communication through the process exceeded my expectations. From start to finish, Martin Bennett and his team went out of their way to make everything as smooth and stress-free as possible. Martin was incredibly professional, but also very personal in his approach, which made a real difference. He took the time to answer all my questions, kept me informed throughout, and made sure everything was handled efficiently. The whole team were friendly, supportive, and clearly committed to providing a high level of service. I felt well looked after every step of the way. I honestly couldn’t recommend them more and would like to say a big thank you to Martin and the entire team for all their help.

They worked hard to keep things moving and keep us updated throughout. Moving house can be stressful so it's important to be in good hands and we certainly felt like we were. Thanks to Leanne, Harry and the wider team for helping us to secure our dream home!

I recently sold my house through the Blackburn office team and they were fantastic, always reachable when I needed to speak to anyone, and everyone in that team always go the extra mile. We also bought our new home through Stones Young Clitheroe, and again both Sarah and Jack were brilliant, the exceptional and consistent service is what makes them the best in the area, and the management team should be very proud. Communication was consistent and was regularly kept up to date which reduced overall stress of buying a home. Thanks to their hard work and dedication, I am now starting to settle into my first home after just under 12 weeks of putting an offer in and couldn’t be happier. Would highly recommend W&J to anyone, especially first-time buyers looking for a reliable and supportive estate agent.

Sharon was lovely on valuing our house, photographing, measuring etc. Ruby then took over handling most of the viewing arrangements and dealing with our sale, she was proactive at chasing follow ups and kept in contact with us regularly. We accepted an offer and completed our sale super quickly (within 4 weeks!) with Taylforths help - we can’t thank them enough, 5* service!
