9th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)I'm not sure why my review was removed, as this was a genuine experience that I unfortunately had to deal with. I'm reposting it to help other people avoid this business. "Booked two viewings for a rental property through Hilton and Horsfall, both times they did not turn up and failed to inform me of the cancellation. I had literally days before I was moving out of my current property, which was sold. They left me in such a stressful predicament, almost causing me to be homeless. Avoid at all cost."
22nd May 2024 (2 years ago)Absolute shocking service which resulting in me losing alot of money. No communication, no updates, they over value a property to get you on board and then you have to keep reducing the price because they cannot sell it. 2 years to sell a property during a time when all houses were flying off the shelves! Anything associated with Duckworths, I would stay well away unless you want to lose money. They don't care and it shows in their service.

7th Jun 2026 (5 days ago)Terrible service received by my daughter. She made an appointment to view a house, she waited, knocked on the door and no one was there. She the callled to be advised the lady should be there. She waited for quite some time then had to return to work. They have still not called to apologise or explain. This is shocking customer service. I would not sell or buy a house from this company

They are prompt at responding to any messages of any concerns and they act as accordingly to resolve issues. I would recommend Regency Estates again and again. I have given them a five start because they deserve it. Thank you

There were a couple of teething snags however Nicola remained calm and steered my application through and got me into the perfect flat where i can begin my new life with my daughter. 30th Apr 2026 (6 weeks ago)?Extremely poor management. Currently withholding my full month's rent without authorization to 'offset' a maintenance bill. They ignored direct written instructions to keep rent and maintenance separate and attempted to charge for work before it was even completed (which they only admitted today). They are now claiming I owe them money despite holding my full rent. Communication has been evasive. Matter now referred to the Property Ombudsman and Trading Standards UPDATE 30/04/26: Following a formal deadline and this public review, the agency has now released my rent in full. I have settled the maintenance invoice separately as originally requested. While the financial matter is now resolved, it should not have required a legal threat and a public complaint to receive my own rental income.

The team were always helpful, responsive and kept things moving during what can be a stressful process. Communication was excellent and they made the whole move much smoother than we expected. Would definitely recommend to anyone buying or selling a property.

5th Jan 2026 (23 weeks ago)As a potential buyer it is very difficult to get through to these estate agents. I have waited over a week for them to get back to me regarding a viewing for properties. They seem to be very adverse to picking up the phone or replying to email enquiries if you are looking to either buy or sell your property I would personally stay clear from this Estate Agent. In addition to this the re occurring theme of discriminatory behaviour is very off putting in the previous reviews as well.
