They took the time to make sure each member of their team was familiar with my home and took all the stress out of the process. A huge thank you to Julie, Mollie, Jacqui and Jessica who constantly kept me updated with how things were progressing and pushed the process along so we could be in our new house for Christmas.

From the initial referencing and checks, through to moving in I cannot give them enough credit. Unlike any other letting agents I've ever dealt with. Friendly, professional and quick responses any time we've contacted, would highly recommend.
6th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)DO NOT USE: Absolutely shocking customer service, staff are rude and belittling. Concerns are not dealt with in a timely or effective manner. Staff have frequently hung the phone up and they have no urgency or understanding of maintenance issues. I would highly recommend you use a different estate agent. We have had sewage left in our garden for weeks, multiple leaks throughout the house with the maintenance team they sent using toilet paper to block gaps in the shower. The list of issues is endless.

9th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)I have used LMS for many years now and would never consider using another agent( I swapped to LMS after less than satisfactory experiences with another agent) They are always supremely effective in finding the best tenants, keep me up to date every step of the way and arrange excellent tradespeople when the need arises. I would very highly recommend them.

2nd Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)Avoid this company like the plague, in particular the Crewe branch. I had a truly awful experience with these so called professionals who went out of their way, with the landlord, to take nearly £2.5k from me for a property I "tried" to rent. The issue began the day I registered the address for my water usage PRIOR to moving in. This alerted the water company that someone was going to be at the property. I received a call from the supplier which was very direct and to the point, stating that the property had a leak which was losing 500 litres a day, they had tried to contact the landlord but had no response and that as I was now the tenant it was my responsibility to pay for and sort. After alot of frantic phone calls with the waterboard it turns out Leaders (and the Landlord) were fully aware of this issue prior to me signing the tenancy agreement but did not disclose this information to me. I had the keys to the property but refused to move in until this issue was sorted by the landlord, via Leaders. This issue went on for over 3 months. Every few days I followed up I was told by Leaders we can't get hold of the Landlord but I still anticipated to move in imminently and kept the keys expecting to do so not knowing this would go on for months.... this would later be used against me by Leaders and cost me thousands. After over 3 months of constant excuses about not being able to get hold of the Landlord, Leaders, at first, agreed this issue was known about by both parties, prior to me signing any agreement and supported the fact that I'd be rented the property misleadingly the explanation being "we thought the issue had been fixed" There whole attitude then changed when apparently there had been a huge mistake and in fact there was no leak, and because I'd kept hold of the keys I had to pay all the rent up to that point. As you can imagine I was very angry to say the least all I wanted to do is rent a property!! I was then led down a garden path by Leaders saying they would do everything for me to sort out but in fact did nothing and lied to me. At this point I had had enough and said I didn't want to move into the property, it was at this point when I returned the keys, demands for rent were made. After alot of back and forth Leaders told me the landlord was happy for me to step away (that was good of them!!!) As long as I paid the remarketing cost for the property of £500 and I would get my first month's rent and deposit back. I stupidly agreed to this and guess what I never received anything back and Leaders have recently, 14 months on, started chasing me for unpaid rent!! I set foot in the property once and it costs me financially and even more so mentally. A truly disgusting company who anablled a landlords to hide away and do nothing and then take my money. Please avoid so you do not get an experience like mine! Que, copy and paste response.
25th Apr 2023 (11 mo. ago)Everyone at the Winsford branch of Swetenhams has been outstanding. Special thanks to Matt. The advice we received was extremely helpful. The customer service has been top notch. They have been very proactive throughout our sale process and our search for our next home. I highly recommend Swetenhams. If I have one regret it would be that we tried to save a little money and find a cheaper solicitor. We should have kept everything with Swetenhams. The tiny cost saving we arguably made is massively offset by the pain and lack of service we received by going away from Swetenhams. Lesson learnt. Next time we'll just let Swetenhams handle the whole thing. Massive thanks.
12th Sep 2023 (7 mo. ago)Lauren, Paul, Nicky and Mandy have all been great at Bridgfords, Winsford. From the day we met through to now (with our move imminent), we found them to be kind, engaging and supportive throughout the whole buying and selling process. They answered questions diligently and with patience. We have emotional reasons for moving, and when our sale fell through not only did they react quickly, finding another buyer almost immediately, but we felt they were genuinely there for us. They make a fantastic team and if you are in the Winsford area, buying or selling, I'd make them your first stop.

Our purchase was able to take place within roughly 8 weeks because of the hard work and perseverance of Kayleigh. Thank you so much to everyone who got us to our dream house.

We new we where in capable hands from meeting her for first time to her coming to our home to value and help get our house on the market . Excellent service throughout and everything fully explained to us so we understand everything selling a house entails.

2nd Apr 2024 (17 days ago)We had our house valued by Charles because we wanted to buy ourselves out of the Help to Buy scheme. It was valued at £415,000. Our neighbour's house, which is exactly the same, has just gone on the market for £395,000. I'm not sure why our house was valued at £20,000 more than the neighbour's; it's the same house but 10ft to the left. I mentioned at the time that it seemed like an overvaluation. We obviously have to pay 20% of the valuation to repay the Help to Buy, so we were disappointed and still think £415,000 is a high valuation for our property compared to others on our estate.

They reduced the stress that house buying can be. Lou and the team are amazing! I can't thank them enough....especially for the multiple viewings we arranged on the property which was moving through the sale process :)
