11th Sep 2026 (7 weeks ago)Wouldn’t recommend at all! We brought a house through bagshaws mickolover branch! They would never answer the phone! Then when we eventually got in touch after ringing the derby branch which were brilliant and really helpful they got in touch with them to tell them to call us back! I then received a phone call of a rude man from mickolover branch who basically said unless you leave a voicemail no one will call back! Why have a phone line if no one answers! Only if there is a voicemail? Really unprofessional and wouldn’t buy an house through them again!

24th Oct 2026 (8 days ago)We had a deeply frustrating and disappointing experience with this letting agency and our property management at Heath Road. Upon moving out, they attempted to squeeze us for unjustified cleaning and inventory charges using unverified quotes instead of actual receipts, ignoring the fact that the property was left in a condition matching our check-in inventory.<br><br>?Furthermore, when we left behind several new items and appliances (including a washing machine, dining table, chairs, and a clothes rail) for the benefit of the property, the agency and landlord happily kept and absorbed these items while simultaneously nickel-and-diming us over old, unverified fixtures. Communication was poor, accountability was entirely missing, and staff showed zero willingness to act fairly.<br><br>?If you rent through them, keep every single record and expect them to try and take advantage of your deposit at the end of the tenancy. Highly unprofessional and predatory behavior.

Helen made the whole process effortless, nothing was ever too much trouble, questions were answered quickly, and she facilitated numerous viewings for us without ever making us feel like an inconvenience.<br><br>It has been a genuine pleasure doing business with Bagshaws, and Helen is a true unicorn amongst the majority of, frankly, abysmal estate agents we’ve come across!<br><br>Professional, friendly, responsive and an absolute pleasure to deal with. 26th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)Landlords - Must Read<br><br>We used this estate agent’s tenant introduction service to find tenants for two of our flats in Nightingale Quarter, Derby. They successfully found tenants for both properties, but unfortunately, our experience after that was extremely disappointing.<br><br>For one of the flats, we did not receive a statement for two months despite chasing this several times. We have also never received a statement or any money relating to our Dalton House flat. The same commission and charges were agreed for both properties.<br><br>Communication has been particularly frustrating. It is extremely difficult to get through to anyone by phone, and when we do manage to speak to someone, we are repeatedly told that someone will call us back, but the promised call does not happen.<br><br>Overall, this has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. Our experience has been that communication was much better while the tenancy arrangements were being completed, but once the deal was done, getting responses and resolving outstanding issues became extremely difficult.<br><br>We would strongly recommend that anyone considering using their services carefully considers the level of aftercare and communication they can expect once the tenancy has been arranged.

They have been easy to get a hold of and very quick to respond. I would definitely come back to Nicholas Humphreys next time we are selling a property.

4th Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)Myself and my partner enquired about a property which was a first floor apartment. We said that we had pets, and the estate agent said they will check. When we went to view, we said again that we had pets and were then told we were not allowed pets at the property. You knew this and didn’t tell us beforehand, and respectfully we will never part with them, so you completely wasted our time. We will not be looking at properties with you again.

18th Jul 2024 (2 years ago)Wanted details on the Southwell Prebend house after a while I received it requested further information and a guidance on price and a viewing no reply a very well known Southwell resident who I visit discussed it with me ,I wasn't saying I was going to buy it but it would have helped if I was at the very least been given further information . Any how I gave up!! As far as I'm aware unless an agreement has been made which hasn't it should be open for a viewing.
