They just made the whole process feel so easy and stress-free, which is not something I was expecting at all! They really know their stuff, gave great advice at every stage, and were always on hand to answer questions or keep me in the loop. You could tell they genuinely cared about getting the best result for me, and they absolutely delivered. What I loved most was how down-to-earth and approachable they were while still being super professional and on it the whole time. It never felt like just another sale to them. I’d recommend them to literally anyone in Hackney without hesitation, and by the end of it all it felt less like working with agents and more like having a couple of friends helping you through a big life moment.

28th Apr 2026 (6 days ago)Rent money sent to them on time and they still send threatening letters saying respond within 24hrs. We have asked for more information as they must have their records wrong. They fail to respond for days comes across as aggressive hipocracy.

He liaised directly with both solicitors, resolved issues before they became problems and kept the entire process moving with professionalism and calm efficiency. What truly sets him apart is his transparency, integrity and speed. He always got back to me quickly, communicated clearly and made sure I understood exactly what was happening at each step. His involvement removed so much stress and ensured the sale progressed smoothly and without delays. 27th Jan 2026 (14 weeks ago)If I could give no stars I would. Will, who said he was the manager of the two Hackney branches, really could not manage a rice pudding. He was enthusiastic until the sale was agreed and then didn't want to bother with any communicating thereafter. He gave the clear impression that he just needed to sit back, do nothing more and wait for the commission to role. He gave clear indications that he did not have time to try and help progress the sale because he was too busy trying to make other property sales. I came away with the definite idea that Dexters work on agreeing as many sales as they possibly can and then do nothing thereafter and keep their fingers crossed that the sale completes. They work on quantity of sales and not quality of service. What Will does not take into account is that buying and selling is very stressful for the buyers and sellers and part of the agents job should be to be very active in progressing the sale and keeping in communication with other agents and the buyers and sellers until the sale is complete. Avoid listing your property for sale with Dexters to avoid disappointment.

17th Apr 2026 (17 days ago)Look at Trustpilot for honest reviews. Dodgy, unresponsive, unprofessional and actively incurring costs. Worst agent I’ve ever dealt with. Incurred lots of extra costs and various maintenance or repairs were never dealt with.
