I highly recommend Vilmis at Chase Evans for those looking to rent in London. He has been great in finding the best property matching my criteria and extremely helpful and efficient throughout. He answered all calls/emails and dealt with queries professionally. The delivery of an outstanding customer service has made him one of the best property agents I have worked with!
Stay away they are extremely unprofessional. They took advantage of the fact that I am foreigner and it would be a long and costly procedure to take them to court. I entered the property and works were taking place and it was full of dust and they claimed that they had professionally clean the property before and therefore I was expected to leave it professionally cleaned. The fan extractor in the kitchen was not working and they never came to fix it as they promised when I entered the property. I had to request more that 5 times for my check out inventory, they were claiming that stuff was missing from the property while on the checkout inventory photos appeared to be there and still charged them. They were claiming that payments were not made and only until I showed them the receipt they would stop bothering me as there is no communication between the departments.

We currently moved out from a foxtons property. And they charged the check out fee which was £165.. We never heard about this fee when moved in ..also the flat condition was domestic cleaning level when we came ! that was completely horrible so we had to clean all up. But for us, we had to hire professional cleaning team and that was £270!and the agency arranged it. That is quite prices but there were no choices. But then, the landlord complained about the cleaning things by calling. It is so upset cos the foxton didn't let us know anything about the whole situation. They rearranged the cleaning team but didn't notice to us and also the landlord. What a joke !
Friendly, hardworking and good communication. I have been letting my flat through the team here for a few years and have always been happy with the attentive service!
I takes on average 932 emails and 82 calls to sort whatever. Pray to whomever you believe that nothing breaks in your property. The fancy "House Maintenance Service" isn't as fancy after all, as I need to wait for over 3 weeks to fix the dishwasher.
Overall, I bet they manage too many properties, and don't put enough effort to keep the level of service on the high level after you sign the papers. By "not enough effort" I mean they don't give a f**k about you.
If they have the most amazing place that fits your budget and location preferences, go for it. Other ways, look for a different Property Manager.
We approached Meade to sell our 1 bedroom flat after a bad experience with a well-known local agent where we didn't get a single viewing in 6 weeks. Within 2 weeks with Meade we had a good handful of viewings and a couple of offers. The guys were great from start to finish. Cannot rate them highly enough.
We asked the agent if he can drive us to the agency after the viewing. He said he was not going back to the agency. So we took a walk, and when we were passing the agency he was there.
