I've been living in a property managed by Franklyn James for just over 2 months now and I have been impressed with the level of service this company provides. Antony Cope was upfront, frank (please excuse the pun), and enthusiastic and helped myself and my flatmate set up in the flat. Gary Adkins then took over after we had fully moved in and has been attentive and quick to respond to any issues that we have had. Would recommend Franklyn James in a heartbeat!
Terrible customer service. As many other estate agents they stopped working once they secured my deposit.
Terrible communications, I had to chase up almost everything, no repairs were made, I didn't get my contract until the very last day and now have to reorganize the entire flat as the painters have to paint the flat 2 weeks after I moved in instead of before.
TL DR: TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, LACK PROFESSIONALISM
Having just completed the sale of my house near Canary Wharf, I wholeheartedly recommend the team of Andrew Groocock, Kiran Sandhu and Michael Cohen. The house was accurately and beautifully represented in the marketing literature. My buyers were sure but slow to complete and the Knight Frank team, in particular Kiran, spent many hours on the phone during the last few days to ensure that each link in the chain kept to the task.
Initial experience is great and very professional but our experience at the end of tenancy was terrible. We were charged around £400 for damages for stuff which was by previous tenants and while some of it was mentioned in the check in report, some of the stuff was never mentioned.
Our fault we didn't look in to too much detail in check in report as we had an understanding with the staff at knight Frank maintenance but she left and the new staff Heather didn't budge. She didn't bother comparing check in and check out reports and we had to eventually pay as we didn't want to get in to the hassle.
The amounts they charge are over priced, for instance key replacement for the window was charged at £75.
Our rent refund calculations were not accounted for and after several polite reminders they looked in to it.
Management service has been superb!!
Peach manage all 6 of my properties in East London and have done such a great job in taking care of them carefully and professionally over the past few years.
Sam, Chris, James and Pauline make a great team and would recommend to any landlord looking for a trustworthy agent in the East end.
Let a property to me knowing that that pipes were leaking in the flat and that renovations were due to happen during the tenancy but failed to mention the extent of those repairs. They were never in the office when needed and as things went sour with the landlord (who was also absentee) due to the issues around their contractors and the landlords insurance problems, they were unavailable. Worst 6 months of my life was spent in a flat let by this crew.
We have been tenants with Morgan Randal for 2 years now and always received the highest quality service in terms of flats search and also property management. We are now looking for a different flat and Danielle our agent has been amazing. We have very difficult requirements for our new flat and she managed to find the perfect match even for the first viewing. Has always been very polite, friendly and really reads our minds in terms of what we are looking for.
If I could possibly rate this company even lower than a 1 I definitely would! A totally unacceptable figure driven company who cares about none of the clients or customers needs. They take most landlords as a joke unless they have a very heavy portfolio where instantly they start seeing money symbols through their eyes. The people seeking a property through them have no say in what they want and get treated in an unacceptable manner as 'second choice' in any matter. Once they do move in, don't expect Morgan Randall to fix the problem. Actually i'll be generous.. they do fix it but after maybe 8 months of you being there. The way they treat their workers is absolutely terrible aswell with feedback being given that employees feel like a slave for the higher management there.
Please don't be fooled by the reviews written on Google as 90% of the people have been begged or forced to write a positive review for the 'one of a kind' service they provide.
I would thoroughly recommend Katrina and Karen! Katrina in particular went out of her on more than one occasion to help us. Very professional, friendly and super well-organised.
Just a bunch of thieving criminals. When we were in the property rather than sorting problems they just tried to point the finger at us instead. This includes a gas leak in the property. Now we have been moved out and away from that hell hole it has been 2 years and they still haven't paid us back our deposit. I have spoken to the landlord, he told them to return the full deposit, they are ignoring him and us and just stealing our money.
They are a bunch of thieving criminals and need to be shut down.
Timothy Hembrough was incredibly helpful and friendly and loved their offices. Would definitely recommend him to others for the future.
By far, my worst real state experience since I moved to London. A truly unprofessional service that started as soon as we payed the monies. A lack of consumer service, either by solving problems of the flat or by replying complaints.
If you're in a need of a flat, doesn't matter how desperate you are, I'd recommend not to work with them, not even as your last option.
