**THE MOST DISGRACEFUL** real estate agency that one can ever experience in spite of very high agency fee (almost half a grand).
Before Foxtons, I never had to live a life where I had to move into a flat with no hot water, a washing machine covered in round of mould, and a ripped mattress with bugs around.
I have requested to remove this soiled mattress after getting my own mattress on the day of move in and it took them ten days to finally come up with a solution: to liaise with the Council on my own (with no estimated time frame and the wrong council contact at first) as this is the most 'economical' option for this 'furnished' property that they hold no liability for such removal. What a self contradictory statement.
This clearly leaves me with two options: either 1) to pay high fees for immediate removal service hire or 2) to wait for weeks for the Council to collect it. Nothing but incompetent property management service - Thank you for a huge life lesson that high price tag doesn't mean quality, though.
The team at Keaton's were extremely helpful when I recently purchased an investment property. They were happy to chase solicitors and sellers whenever it was needed. I would use them again.
Landlords, go next door!
Keatons have been nothing but useless with us from start to finish. The service they provided us was so appalling that we had to go with another agency at the end. Their competitors next door provided us with such an efficient service (at a way cheaper rate) that we really regretted having gone with them in the first place!!
Their agents are clueless. Their management team as they call it consists of one girl behind a computer who does everything wrong. We constantly had to get back to them and correct their mistakes. They even managed to lose our keys. Pure negligence.
They are only here to cash in, they don't care about anything else and they should be ashamed to charge what they charge given the service they provide.
Jesse was very meticulous in finding us the right property for our little family. He really listened to what we wanted in the perfect home and he delivered above expectation. He remained very patient in the process and was attentive to our requests. Thank you Jesse for helping us get this done in record time!
"Money Grabbing Attitude". AVOID
Absolutely unprofessional and time waster; they deliberately retained information from me just to ensure some 'back-up plan' to present the landlord to ensure their (shamefully expensive) fees are collected and not bothering to guarantee any sort of transparency and honesty.
I was interested in renting a a flat listed by their branch in Bow E3.
After discussing over the phone with the agent we have arranged a first viewing where they guaranteed I would have had the first slot available.
On the day of the viewing they have cancelled on last minutes as "the tenant did not want to give them access".
I understood the situation despite of the inconvenience caused to me in having to re-arrange another viewing.
I once again asked for the first available slot, which was guaranteed for me just 2 days later.
I once again took time off to attend the viewing. I called the branch in the morning to confirm and sent an email shortly after to confirm my attendance once more.
The agent sent me an email (did not even bother to ring my phone and speak to me) to inform me that an offer submitted the week before was accepted and the property was therefore taken off the market.
Joseph and Luke at Bairstow's have been super efficient in finding and managing new tenants for my flat. We are now on the third set of tenants with no void periods at all. They are quick, efficient, helpful, friendly and much better value than other agents I've used. I would recommend them strongly.
Please do not use this agency. The fees are extortionate even when renewing a tenancy and they do absolutely nothing once they have got you in. When we arrived at our property, they had not cleaned it or undertaken an inventory. They failed to do so or provide any compensation when we had to clean it even though I was pregnant at the time. Now we have left, they are trying to charge us £80 for not cleaning the oven. This is despite their agreement that we would not have to professionally clean it when we left. It has taken over 6 weeks to get our deposit back and they still owe us money. An utter shambles of a company.

Amazing service received from Rhys. He is excellent, the emails are answered promptly and advise given instantly. I have actually already recommended Rhys and Butler and Stag to another friend. My process was started by Michael and finished by Rhys and both have been excellent.
