It was clear he truly cared about getting things right for us. Estate agents often get a bad name, but Mark is the real deal — a refreshing exception who actually puts people first.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

5th Jun 2026 (25 days ago)My fiancée and I have recently purchased our first house through Durden & Hunt, and I can honestly say that Olivia was the reason we ended up buying the property. After months of dealing with various estate agents, Olivia was the first person who genuinely took the time to understand what we were looking for. In fact, she called me after the office had closed one evening to talk through our requirements, understand our situation and discuss a property she thought would be a great fit. No other agent we dealt with went to those lengths. From that point onwards, Olivia was absolutely fantastic. She was proactive, knowledgeable, responsive and, most importantly, she genuinely cared about getting the transaction over the line. Throughout what turned out to be a lengthy conveyancing process, she kept us informed, chased when needed, coordinated between solicitors and estate agents, and regularly went above and beyond to make sure things kept moving. What stood out most was her persistence and communication. Whenever there was an update, she would pick up the phone. Whenever something needed chasing, she was already on it. At times it genuinely felt like she was as invested in the move as we were. Buying a house can be stressful, especially as first-time buyers moving up the ladder, but Olivia made the process far easier than it otherwise would have been. We honestly do not think we would be moving into our new home without her help, support and determination. A huge thank you to Olivia and the team at Durden & Hunt. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. Ross & Rebecca

Mine was a complex situation with the move but I had so much support from Matthew.<br>He worked so hard to ensure the sale of my house and purchase of my flat went as smoothly as possible.<br>He was really easy to reach and I was kept up to date throughout.<br>I would strongly recommend them, especially as my house sold straight away, and for the asking price!<br>I honestly can’t thank them enough.

From the very beginning, Martine Hamilton kept us informed at every stage of the process, which made what can often be a stressful and uncertain time feel much more manageable. Whenever we had questions for the sellers, or needed updates from the solicitors, Martine was straight onto it, chasing things up and coming back to us with quick, clear responses. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her, and she clearly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran as smoothly as possible.<br><br>We’d also like to thank Svetlana, who showed us the property, for being so helpful and welcoming from the very first viewing. Her knowledge of the property and the local area gave us real confidence in our decision, and she made the whole viewing experience a pleasure.<br><br>Having such a reliable and proactive team behind us made an enormous difference, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for better people to guide our son through buying his new home.
