24th Oct 2026 (8 days ago)EO had our flat for 3 months on the market, with no enquiries at all and no viewings. Not even one phone call! They said we had overpriced by £10k (priced at £220k, not the £210k they recommended) but other similar flats were at £220k. They did not seem to understand the good location of our flat, the secure site, the ground floor position overlooking manicured communal gardens, the owned parking place etc. They could not explain why there was no interest at all, and seemed to have no database of potential buyers. Their only suggestion was that we reduce the price. I do not believe that £10k on a flat of this sort was deterring ALL possible buyers. (The service charge on our flat is relatively high, but EO should have been able to deal with this.)
6th Apr 2025 (1 year ago)Bought with Murray’s a few months ago & couldn’t be happier with the experience. Raph took care of me through the whole process and was very supportive through some conveyancing complications. Having dealt with a lot of local agents while viewing properties, Murray’s from first contact felt the most professional & attentive. I instantly felt in safe hands and was very happy they had the property I ended up going for ! Which is no surprise as they always represent the most gorgeous properties in the area. Thanks Murray’s , would 100% recommend and will return when it comes to moving on without a doubt.

Despite arranging a full professional end-of-tenancy clean, including carpets, and leaving the property in better condition than when we moved in, this agency is now claiming they had to carry out an additional clean and that we left the property in poor condition. We have invoices, photos, videos, and email correspondence with Ridgeway confirming the work completed, yet they are still attempting to withhold our deposit. We were reliable tenants — rent was always paid on time, we were flexible with contractor access, and we fully adhered to the tenancy agreement. It’s genuinely disappointing to be treated this way after being so cooperative. I would strongly advise avoiding this estate agent if you value honesty and fairness regarding your deposit.
12th Oct 2026 (20 days ago)12 of us stayed at 1 Summer Lake, the house was absolutely amazing! Considering there was 12 and a toddler there was plenty of room. The bedrooms me lounge were great and the outside space was fantastic. The house was walking distance to various pubs, villages and the water sports centre making it an easily accessible place for everyone to enjoy. The lake was great for paddle boarding and the wrap around decking and hot tub made a great spot to enjoy the views. Perfect place for a large family get together, we really didn’t want to leave.

Particular thanks for dealing so effectively with the solicitors for both sides and eliminating what can otherwise be somewhat stressful.

Her communication was 10/10 - she was always available by phone, even outside of normal working hours, and nothing was ever too much trouble.<br><br>She made what can often be a stressful process feel completely seamless and straightforward. Her professionalism was evident throughout.<br>I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

9th Jul 2023 (3 years ago)Would not recommend this estate agents. I had to chase them for feedback every time (however, only had 7 viewings in 4 months!) didn’t hear from them at all for 7 weeks! NO communication at all!! Arranged viewings with totally unsuitable prospective buyers (e.g. a lady with an electric car who wanted to install an electric hook up when there is no driveway-on street parking). Felt forgotten about as the office wasn’t in our town. Worse than disappointing.- 18th Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)The team (and especially Karen) were excellent in handling our tenancy. Loved the vibe in the Burford office and made a couple of hairy friends.<br>Seriously, the process was smooth, efficient, friendly yet professional, and it was a real pleasure to deal with Butler Sherborne, start to finish.

He was efficient, flexible with what worked for our home life/ work schedule and a very stress free selling process and sold our home within one day of viewings - highly recommend.

I felt like I was looked after throughout the whole process and felt like Finley Bridgeman was key in securing the sale in the first place (which only took two/three weeks from going to market).<br>The whole team work well together and Ian Street makes you feel relaxed and that you are an important customer.
