29th Sep 2022 (3 years ago)I'd happily recommend Sharman Quinney to anyone looking for mortgage advisor. I used them to get a mortgage for purchasing my first house. Phil was extremely helpful and made the experience very easy. I had been left in the dark by another mortgage advisor which made the start of the already daunting experience even worse. Phil set me at ease, he made the effort to keep in contact and guide me through the whole process. He explained everything clearly and offered good advice wherever I was unsure. All while being a genuine and friendly guy who clearly cares about his client’s needs.

Jess could not have been more helpful in helping is secure our forward purchase. A massive thankyou to Moores . Highly recommend to anyone wanting an agent who is motivated, communicative and has excellent local knowledge.

We originally viewed the home last year but was not in a position to proceed, however after we sold our home early this year we found our dream home had still not sold and we were able to proceed! The whole process from start to finish was seamless with Lois being our main point of contact. As the home is an older property we needed lots of visits and surveys, but this was never an issue with King west (Lois) always being so accommodating! Lois and the team’s communication is just seamless and makes which is usually a stressful life event so easy. Thanks again to King West!

31st Oct 2025 (7 mo. ago)This was our first experience with a estate agent and they seemed very keen and enthusiastic saying the right things so went with them even though felt their original estimate was too high and brought it down to similar properties as always felt it was a nice house and someone would fall in love with it but the house market was very fickle and the houses just where not selling and people where dropping their prices in the area so unfortunately had to we followed suit but still not getting people through our door and what people that did veiw didn't leave negative comments infact very positive veiws but no offers which maybe there was nothing needed doing to the house and people wanted to do their own mark to a house instead at lower price but after nearly 6 months felt we needed a change as we had lost out on properties we wanted to buy and if we lowered anymore just to get a sale may as well sold to a investment company and lose money but definitely the housing market not helped by our present government who hit first time buyers with and working people with stealth taxes.... fingers crossed our new estate agents will bring that sale.

16th Jun 2026 (5 days ago)I recently purchased a house from Harrison rose and i have to say the service i received from them was outstanding the whole way through, and they weren’t even my estate agent! Between a long chain and my solicitor not being the quickest the whole thing took longer than I had hoped but Sonya and Paul were amazing throughout, sending frequent updates as to where we were along the way and even helping to chase my slow solicitor. As a first time buyer the process was a little stressful but their understanding and patience made it all much easier. I have no plans of selling but if i ever do, i know exactly who I'm going to use.

1st May 2026 (7 weeks ago)Excellent service from EweMove from start to finish — the most personal agent I have found in this whole process. Lisa in particular has always been on standby, sending texts, voice notes and making calls at any given moment. Nothing seemed to much trouble and there was always a friendly vibe, even when things were tough. It takes a special sort of someone to always be happy and friendly in a job like this, and Lisa fits the bill every time! Thank you for all you did for the sale & completion of my property. Highly recommend to all! ??????
3rd Jun 2026 (18 days ago)The staff are very good and always attend your calls immediately. Their customer service is superb. They have charged me a great deal.more than other agents who were local. I paid this on the presumption that they would get me a better price which they have not done. I explained to them that I needed a certain price in order to make up the shortfall for the onward purchase, which fell on deaf ears. To be honest, I would not use them again.

22nd Nov 2022 (3 years ago)As a purchaser, dealing with all members of the T&C team in Stamford throughout the viewing, negotiating and pre-contract phases was a thoroughly professional experience. When a Grade II listed property is involved, there are likely to be wrinkles. Still, Jan, in particular, was a highly responsive conduit between the seller and us, ensuring matters were attended to correctly and timely. The sale and contracts are now exchanged, with both parties happy - the exact definition of a good negotiation outcome.

14th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Absolutely outstanding from start to finish, it's fair to say we had just about every barrier in the way of our onward purchase, but both James & Kim worked tirelessly to get it over the line for us, the guidance, the support and everything inbetween made a huge differance to both myself and my family. They didn't have to do half of what they did for us but the fact is they wanted to help and are genuinely lovely people & I can't thank them enough.

5th Jun 2026 (16 days ago)Extremely disappointing experience with Hurfords Castor throughout my purchase process. What should have been a straightforward communication chain turned into months of chasing, repeated follow-ups and broken promises of “we’ll call you back” that rarely materialised. The most frustrating part has not even been the complexity of the transaction itself, but the complete lack of ownership and urgency despite the fact that my mortgage expiry date was clearly communicated multiple times. I repeatedly found myself having to: chase updates that were promised but never provided follow up multiple times on simple requests contact the office to find out who was even covering the file when the assigned agent was unavailable ask several times for communications to simply be forwarded to the seller At this stage of the transaction, with only days remaining before mortgage expiry, I still found myself struggling to get basic callbacks and confirmations. Reading other reviews, I can unfortunately see that many people appear to have experienced very similar issues around communication and follow-through. Buying a property is stressful enough without clients having to constantly manage the estate agency themselves just to keep momentum on the transaction. I have attached asked the director to intervene at the end of January 2026. It is now May and I still haven't got any replies, nor witnessed any improvements in their client service.
