I was desperate to view a property , phoned up 3 times over a week , each time getting no response , no call no text no email , in that time, someone came in a viewed the property also took he property . The one time they did answer i was told there was no interest in this property, so because of what only seems as laziness , in any response, I mist any opportunity...... Would not recommend this branch what so ever

A very helpful, friendly and professional independent estate agency. 5* is not enough ?????? Easy to communicate with and approachable, always with good advice. They know their business. Thank you.

29th Apr 2026 (8 days ago)I let my property for 6 years with Pennell and Partners and finally sold through them also. Having been let down previously by a letting agent i was very apprehensive about letting out my property again but what a difference it made letting through them. I can't recommend them enough. They were extremely helpful and professional throught. No matter the issue, it was fixed immediately. I would like to say a huge thank you to Tim and Sharon who made the 6 years stress free.
5th May 2026 (2 days ago)Very poor communication, failing to even acknowlege emails let alone act on them. Pushing to keep reducing the price in a race to the bottom but failed to generate a single viweing in three months. Property keys kept in two desk drawers and when I went to collect mine it took 20 minutes to find them. They will claim their system was down but keys should be kept in a key safe. They also tried to hand me the wrong keys.
21st Apr 2026 (16 days ago)I went through William H Brown to view houses. When i viewed one house in witwell it was decrepit and upon leaving the house an Agent Naomi said that she would give me a call for an update on getting back to the landlord and then never did. I had to keep chasing up for updates and i didnt feel like i was looked after at all. I phoned in a couple days later to find out the house had been taken already by another agency but i never got an update to tell me. I then went to connells and met the lovely freya and yasmin who showed me a great house that i then put a holding deposit down all because of their great hospitality. If you want great customer service id look across the street -10/10

I have used this branch of WH Brown for buying and selling numerous times and I’m pleased with the results. Thank you Paul.
14th Apr 2026 (23 days ago)I’ve been really disappointed with how things have been handled. Communication has been slow and unclear, especially when it came to something as important as the tenant’s notice. I wasn’t given the exact date it was received or a copy of the notice when I asked, which made it difficult to check that everything was being managed properly. The delays have also made things harder for me when it comes to planning next steps, and it feels like this could have been avoided with more timely and transparent communication. I’m also concerned that the check-out inspection when the tenants moved out was missed, with no one attending as expected. On top of that, the tenants’ deposit has still not been returned, which is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the overall management. Overall, this has not been a positive experience. I would have expected a far more responsive, reliable and professional service.

From the beginning, the staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any questions I had. Buying a first home can be quite stressful, but they made the whole process feel much more manageable by keeping me updated and explaining each step clearly. A special thank you to Ellie, who was particularly helpful throughout. She was always responsive, supportive, and happy to chase things up when needed, which made a big difference in keeping everything moving smoothly. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend the Werrington branch to anyone looking to buy or sell. Thank you again to Ellie and the whole team for all your help!

From the start, their communication was excellent, we received regular, honest updates and useful feedback throughout the entire process. They did a fantastic job presenting our home. The photos were high quality and really highlighted the best features of the property, and it was clear they took the time to properly understand the house ahead of viewings. What really stood out is that, unlike many estate agents who tend to go quiet unless there’s a viewing, Villager Homes genuinely delivered on their promise to be proactive. We always felt informed and supported, not left wondering what was happening. After the sale was agreed, Ana in particular went above and beyond. She worked incredibly hard to keep us updated on everything happening across the chain, especially during times when communication from other parties was slow or unclear. That made a huge difference and really helped reduce the stress. Overall, we were really pleased with the experience. The whole team were friendly, professional, and consistently went the extra mile to help wherever they could. We’d highly recommend them.

6th May 2026 (1 day ago)The process has been remarkably quick and efficient from receiving the Get Agent information on the 3-5 top performing local estate agents, to selecting our Personal Estate agent who has excellent knowledge of the local environment and current sales values. She supported our presentation of the home and her pre-publicity and social media "video teasers" were a highly useful marketing tool. We had received an offer before going to market due to her knowledge of local buyers. We did however wait to open market and have had an offer within 10days!
18th Apr 2026 (19 days ago)Michael and his team at Frank Modern gave us a great service from start to finish.They are a very friendly team, and always very easy to get hold off. They completed the valuation, and great photos of our home for right move quickly. They also advised how best to generate interest, advising on the right price point. The team completed all our viewings, which we found easy to arrange with them. Once we sold our house the service Tracey provided was 5*, she communicated regularly with us and our buyers. We would recommend selling through Frank Modern.

I knew she was working to sell my flat for me, it wasn't listed and left! All the staff were helpful and performed their role impeccably. Communication was easy, through Whatsapp and the street portal. I can highly recommend their services.

Freya showed me around the house making jokes throughout which made for a great viewing experience. I hope if i were to use Connells again that we would have freya to look after us 11/10 experience
