Everyone in the office was proactive and kept us well informed of the progress of the whole transaction, to enable a smooth and well coordinated purchase and sale. Well done and thank you to all involved for a highly professional service. We recommend the team at the Stamford office unreservedly.

A special thank you to Jane, who always kept me informed every step of the way and responded to my questions promptly. The communication was excellent, with everything explained clearly and any concerns addressed quickly. I really appreciated the professionalism and support provided, which made the whole experience much smoother.

They ensured that what is -with the best will in the world - rather a stressful process, became as hassle-free an experience as possible. What is more, they found us a buyer incredibly quickly. Our sales negotiator at the Stamford office, Ms Mason, responded extremely sensitively to the type of property we were selling and therefore ensured that only the most sympathetic of potential viewers were shown around the house. Thereafter, all subsequent sale negotiations were handled speedily, courteously, and to everyone’s satisfaction. We would not hesitate to use Savills in Stamford again – and indeed, are about to do so!

29th May 2026 (23 days ago)Me and my partner are about to move into our forever home on shared ownership (1st time buyers) Jamie Butler has been there from the very start, although we didn't have the best experience with the solicitors Jamie was there if we got stuck and would take over when things got to much for us. His service was so good he made us feel so welcomed and offered us a drink everytime we seen him. His support and advice by guideing us every step of the way over the past long 8 months, checking mortgage rates to make sure we had the great deal and helping us send over the documents to the solicitors also going over the enquiries. As 1st time buyers we had no idea how the process works Jamie was very patient with us, he explained everything in detail which we liked. He even came into the office on his day off which was so kind of him we didn't ask him too and for that he deserves more than a 5 star. I would give him 10 star everything he has done for us, service that he provided was beyond what we could have expected we can't thank him enough. I recommend Jamie to my neighbour/family and friends and will stay in touch with him for the future. The other staff that was involved in the process Tom, Lauren and Becky were very nice and helpful Thankyou to all of you ??????

From the very first enquiry to signing the tenancy agreement and collecting the keys, Leanne was professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Moving home can be a stressful experience, but she made everything straightforward and kept me informed at every stage. Any questions I had were answered promptly, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. What stood out most was her communication and attention to detail. Leanne was always approachable, proactive, and genuinely seemed to care about ensuring everything went smoothly for both me and the landlord. 8th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Worse experience with them, was looking to rent a house through them.. they wanted a holding deposit to check my credit scores, if I fail the credit score then I don’t get my money back.. surely that’s not right? Anyway, spoke to their manager and she agreed on doing the credit check without a holding deposit of £250, baring in kind that’s a lot of money, I’m glad my credit check failed otherwise I wouldn’t of got that money back. Ever, please be aware of this scam, they just want £250 and will deliberately fail a credit check or say you can’t afford the rent so they keep the money for themselves. my conversation with Ellie from Belvoir Bourges Boulevard I have checked the law too.. it’s against the law to take a non refundable deposit to do a credit check.

9th Jun 2026 (12 days ago)5 starts purely for Kyra Naomi, we ended up enduring a 9month sale that was not straight forward and Kyra was attentive the entire time. Most people in this situation would give up or not be bothered as it took so long but Kyra was always on the phone or available by text never an issue. Great employee. TA did not act on behalf of me but Kyra was great to deal with.

Took us through each step to now become tenants of this property. We couldn't thank him and his colleagues enough.
5th Jun 2026 (16 days ago)Extremely disappointing experience with Hurfords Castor throughout my purchase process. What should have been a straightforward communication chain turned into months of chasing, repeated follow-ups and broken promises of “we’ll call you back” that rarely materialised. The most frustrating part has not even been the complexity of the transaction itself, but the complete lack of ownership and urgency despite the fact that my mortgage expiry date was clearly communicated multiple times. I repeatedly found myself having to: chase updates that were promised but never provided follow up multiple times on simple requests contact the office to find out who was even covering the file when the assigned agent was unavailable ask several times for communications to simply be forwarded to the seller At this stage of the transaction, with only days remaining before mortgage expiry, I still found myself struggling to get basic callbacks and confirmations. Reading other reviews, I can unfortunately see that many people appear to have experienced very similar issues around communication and follow-through. Buying a property is stressful enough without clients having to constantly manage the estate agency themselves just to keep momentum on the transaction. I have attached asked the director to intervene at the end of January 2026. It is now May and I still haven't got any replies, nor witnessed any improvements in their client service.
