17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

Because we couldn’t travel down for every minor detail we needed an estate agent we could implicitly trust.<br>Graham Farthing at Austin Gray was nothing short of amazing!! He was incredibly responsive 24/7 transparent and proactive. Finally an estate agent that actually listened to what we wanted and went above and beyond to assist us at every stage. Graham handled everything on the ground here in Brighton saving us countless stressful trips! Austin Grays knowledge of Brighton is second to none and Graham completely supported us from start to finish, always accommodating with our travel schedules for viewings and crucially kept in the loop at all times. A huge thank you to a true professional and gentleman. Our completion date was on our wedding anniversary!! The icing on the cake. ??????????????????

She turned the rental around very quickly and connected me with people in the local area. Helen was also great and stepped in when Lisa was out on a visit. Lisa has followed up with me without having to be chased. Lisa and Helen both explained processes clearly and made me feel comfortable to come back with any questions. From the initial meeting with Rennick who found two perfect buyers a few days after our initial meeting to the rest of the team including Nancy and Sam who were always super efficient, professional and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Shout out to Alex who was truly exceptional in smoothing things out during the gnarly conveyancing bits that all house sales experience and putting my mind at rest! Highly recommend this company.

It felt like she truly cared about us and the seller and she was always on hand to talk to us when we needed. Everything was smooth and thought through and the welcome gift when we picked up our keys was such a kind touch. Thank you Alex and the team!!

From the initial contact we found GianFranco to be efficient, professional, proactive and thoroughly pleasant. He sold our property on the day of the first set of viewings and kept us informed all the way up to completion. I could not have scripted a more stress free experience myself. There should be a five star plus rating to do justice to excellence like GianFanco’s. Thank you on behalf of our family.

The images to support my sale were some of the best I've ever seen, with additional video and drone images of the area. His narrative to describe my home was engaging not just a bland description of a room. He understood that you are not just selling a property but a lifestyle. I cannot rate him high enough.
