17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

3rd Sep 2026 (16 days ago)I recently had the pleasure of selling my house through Marcus Grimes.<br><br>I wanted to take the time to point out how conscientous and supportive they were throughout the whole procedure.<br><br>Abigail conducted my sale and did so with the utmost professionalism, leaving me reassured throughout the process.<br>She ensured communication between all parties was as constant as possible, and chased people where necessary on my behalf.<br><br>Special mention to the friendly chap on the phones who also sorted some elements out for me swiftly in her absence.<br><br>The team has a real local and friendly feel that you don't often experience with estate agents these days.<br><br>Highly recommend.- 4th Aug 2026 (7 weeks ago)We purchased a property through Mark Revill this year in Haywards Heath. 7th Aug 2025 (1 year ago)we were looking for a surveyor for the home we wanted to buy and contacted alot came across charles wycherley estatre agents who also do surveyers reports.well what can i say excellent service and a lovely man who was very knowledgable of the area.a kind man who took the time to go through our report if you need a surveyor or buy or sell your home charles is the person to go through .when i sell my home at some point i will go to charles 5 stars

Marketing that valued my input, no hard selling, good advice at all stages, worked to and met my timescales. Understood that we are people with real needs and not just more stock to throw on the pile.<br>I'd recommend them highly.
17th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)We didn't end up going ahead with our sale in the end - some family timing meant it wasn't the right moment for us - but I wanted to leave a review anyway because Tom was excellent throughout and I wouldn't hesitate to use him when we do sell.<br><br>He came across as genuinely thorough from the first meeting, not just a sales pitch. He talked us through the marketing price versus what we might actually achieve, was clear about how the launch and pre-launch process works, and didn't try to rush us into anything. When we told him our circumstances had changed, he was completely understanding and no pressure about it, which honestly says a lot about how he'd handle things once you're actually on the market too.<br><br>If you're weighing up agents in the Edmonton area, I'd put him on your shortlist. Thorough, straightforward, no hard sell.

31st Aug 2026 (19 days ago)Would appear the house was over valued by the estate agent so setting wrong expectations about what price could be achieved. Minimal viewings Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage No communication from the estate agent I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.

Steven gave excellent guidance prior to us putting the house on the market, and the marketing material he produced was exceptional. He quickly found a buyer and worked hard to push through the sale once the chain was complete. He was approachable and accessible throughout and it was a great pleasure to work with him.
17th Jul 2026 (9 weeks ago)We met Alexandra when she showed us round another home we were looking at and were immediately struck by her manner - friendly, honest and very knowledgeable - she knows her market really well. We decided to then use Alexandra to market our house, which was a decision we are so happy we made. The marketing she provides is far superior to other agents which definitely showed in the interest she achieved for our house. She got an amazing amount of viewings booked in and found a great buyer. We were incredibly lucky that she also arranged our purchase as well. House buying can be incredibly stressful, especially when you have to chase people down for answers and responses, Alexandra managed all this beautifully and made the process much easier than it should have been. I have already recommended her to family members and friends and will continue to do so. We can’t thank her enough.

Nikki was professional and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The staff in the office, were also extremely professional, helpful and friendly. My purchase went through in less than 3 months, due in part to Nikki.
