I have had dealings with Hamptons for quite a few years and always received good service.<br>Lately a very sensitive situation developed, coming from other sources, which needed extra tact and diplomacy and Katie proved to be the perfect person, helping to resolve the matter fairly and easily.

The difference in energy, flexibility and "can do" attitude was clear from the start, and this was then followed up by superior photography and marketing. I'd recommend them for anyone looking to sell their property in the Oxted area.

From the outset, the process was far from straightforward, with a number of challenges arising along the way, particularly around communication with the sellers and various other complexities. Despite these obstacles, the team remained professional, proactive and supportive at every stage.<br><br>David and Verity were outstanding throughout the purchase process. They consistently kept us informed, responded quickly to queries, and worked tirelessly behind the scenes to help overcome issues as they arose. Their persistence, attention to detail and commitment to ensuring progress was made a significant difference, and we are genuinely grateful for the role they played in helping us successfully complete the purchase.<br><br>On the sale of our property, Oliver and the wider sales team were equally impressive. Having that person who connects the people and Solicitors in the chain, making sure everybody responds quickly is vital to making the sale process run smoothly. 17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

Highly competitive fee structure and much fairer than I saw with other companies. Chloe, Bhav and the team managed to find a great tenant within a week of posting the ad.<br><br>Thanks guys hope it continues to go well.

26th Dec 2021 (4 years ago)Lovely hotel with a great room and comfy bed. Unfortunately the food was really unpleasant - and the service was some of the worst I’ve experienced. Shame as it has the potential to be a great place but sadly the restaurant is really atrocious. Eating there did ruin our evening as we spent so long waiting on every course - wouldn’t have minded enormously but the food was really terrible too when it did come. Would definitely stay in the hotel again but not go to the restaurant.

31st Aug 2026 (19 days ago)We were impressed with their post sales service. We were buying/selling within a chain where Jackson-Stops Oxted was one of the appointed estate agents. We felt that Jackson-Stops were the most diligent of the estate agents in the chain, and they were best at ensuring that all parties in the chain were moving forwards. They seemed most aware of progress and any hitches in the chain at any given point. All fees being equal, we would use Jackson-Stops next time we sell a house.

We both bought and sold through them, and the whole experience was professional, friendly and straight forward from start to finish.<br><br>One thing that really stood out to us when choosing an agent was the quality of their property photographs. They present all their houses beautifully and really set themselves apart from the competition.<br><br>Communication throughout was excellent, and we always felt looked after and kept informed. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Damian and Zac. A fantastic service all round x
