Dan was knowledgeable, friendly and professional throughout the sale of our property in Cobham, and a genuine pleasure to deal with.<br><br>This isn’t the first property I have sold with Dan, and the fact that I’ve chosen to use him again speaks volumes. He made the whole process straightforward and was always approachable, helpful and on hand whenever I needed him.<br><br>I wouldn’t hesitate to use Dan and the team at Knight Frank again, and we look forward to working with them on the next sale.

The sale was managed very professionally, with excellent communication at every stage. Given the circumstances, it was important that the property was sold as quickly as possible, and the team worked tirelessly to ensure this outcome. Thank you to all concerned, who were always positive, and worked tirelessly in the background to achieve this in a difficult market.
16th Sep 2026 (3 days ago)Worst Service & Unprofessional Agency – Complete Waste of Time<br><br>I submitted an application form for a property after viewing it over two weeks ago, but I have not received a single update from the agency. Even though I contacted them three separate times, they offered nothing but excuses—saying the agent was out on viewings, promised to call me back, or was unavailable.<br><br>What’s more concerning is that whenever I called, they kept asking me how much I had offered for the rent. This feels like a push for bidding, which is deeply unethical and unprofessional.<br><br>Their complete lack of professionalism and terrible customer service wasted my time. I’ve completely decided against moving to Leatherhead solely because of this terrible experience with them.<br><br>I demand that all of my personal data and application details be immediately deleted from your system. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this agency if you are looking to rent.
8th Feb 2026 (7 mo. ago)I felt the agent had a lack of knowledge and understanding of our local area, and was too focused on metrics rather than seeing the advantages of our particular property over some of the other properties around us. I felt there was too much pressure being put on us to drop our asking price after only a few weeks in.

They have always been highly responsive to both general queries and to any maintenance required. Grantley always kept us informed of emergency contacts over the holidays, and proactively informed us of upcoming changes to the letting process/legislation. House visits were organised well in advance, allowing us our privacy. Highly recommended!

27th Aug 2026 (23 days ago)James Anson accompanied me on four viewings in the Dorking area and was friendly, approachable and refreshingly honest about each property. What impressed me most was witnessing his interaction with vendors. Three were present during the viewings, and James treated them with genuine warmth, empathy and professionalism.<br>I usually find house viewings quite daunting and not particularly enjoyable, but James made the whole experience comfortable, engaging and positive. A real asset to Barnard Marcus and someone I would happily recommend.

He recently sold our Mother's house in Ashtead, which had a few hiccups along the way and took a long time to get over the finish line. Mark remained calm throughout and gave us good guidance, in what was for us an emotional and difficult time.

He really helped us get through this house moving process with less stress than we would otherwise have experienced. 27th Jun 2026 (12 weeks ago)I had an extremely disappointing and distressing experience with Ralph James while trying to rent a property at Helena House, Royal Earlswood, ahead of starting my new job at East Surrey Hospital.<br>I viewed the property with an agent named Hugo Cina. Following the viewing, I received what appeared to be legitimate emails containing the tenancy agreement and payment instructions. During the process, I was told that iI needed to pay the 5 weeks rent as deposit at first, and then told to pay 2 weeks rent as deposit for them to send me the contract letter. When I questioned why I was being asked to pay more than the usual holding deposit- which is one week's rent, I was encouraged to make the payment quickly so that the tenancy could proceed.<br>I subsequently received bank account details that I was told belonged to the landlord and, relying on those instructions and the accompanying telephone conversations, transferred £346. I have retained copies of the emails, call records and payment confirmation.<br>The following day, when I contacted the agency, I was informed by a senior member of staff, Sam, that their email system had been compromised. Since then, despite numerous phone calls and emails to both Sam and the Head of Lettings, Katie, I have received no meaningful response or assistance regarding the money I lost.<br>I have now submitted a formal police report regarding the suspected fraud. The lack of communication and support from the agency after being informed of the incident has been extremely disappointing.<br>Whether the payment resulted from a compromise of their systems or another cause is something for the relevant authorities to investigate. However, as a prospective tenant, I acted entirely in good faith, relying on communications that appeared to come directly from the agency.<br>Based on my experience, I cannot recommend using this agency. I hope they improve their security, communication and support for customers who find themselves in situations like mine.<br><br>I would not recommend their services as they are not secure, professional and aren't helpful at all.
