8th Feb 2026 (25 weeks ago)I felt the agent had a lack of knowledge and understanding of our local area, and was too focused on metrics rather than seeing the advantages of our particular property over some of the other properties around us. I felt there was too much pressure being put on us to drop our asking price after only a few weeks in.

They’ve completely changed my (very outdated) opinion of house selling / buying and I could not be more grateful for their support through what was a more complex sale than we originally thought! They have the relationships and the know-how, which is a hard-to-find combo, but it’s the only one that will get you where you need to be. Big love and thanks to John and his team, because when it comes down to it, they made my dreams come true!

She went above and beyond to help with everything, and she dealt with things quickly and efficiently. I would recommend her to anyone selling their home, she was just brilliant and made what could have been a very stressful experience so stress free with constant communication and support.

I can’t speak highly enough of his company.<br>The people working along side of him ( Heidi ) have been nothing short of amazing. Can’t thank you all enough. Look forward to the next remortgage.

Communication was fantastic, whenever I phoned, someone from the team always picked up or phoned back. I also received regular emails which was also very good and reassuring. I dealt with Jackie Nathan who understood my house, my area and the current market incredibly well. She gave great advice and talked me through all my options. As a result, my property was presented at its very best and appropriately priced from the outset - no reductions, plenty of viewings and a fast sale. The wider team were friendly and timely, managing viewings with great courtesty. I would highly recommend Jackie and the team for anyone looking to sell.

He was fantastic at communicating with everyone and the vendor offering honest and transparent advice.<br><br>They say an estate agent's real work starts after the sale is agreed to keep all parties posted, and Philip did this brilliantly. We always knew exactly where we stood despite the complexities, highly recommend.

Rachel's proactive approach with constant communication has been really impressive. I feel we were very fortunate to choose Halliwell Marks over all the other local estate agents. I think Richard's self-assurance and confidence in his staff are very well-founded. Many thanks to them all.

Cancelled appointments and numerous excuses throughout, it’s ironic that they sell themselves as a more bespoke and individual service when actually I felt the complete opposite. Josh was our agent and I wouldn’t recommend.
