2nd Oct 2026 (5 weeks ago)Without Wendy and her colleagues in the Lingfield office I very much doubt our house purchase would have materialised. The timely support and conversations helped immensely during the journey. Thank you again Wendy, really appreciate everything.

Kim & Brooke

17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.
7th Oct 2026 (27 days ago)Very easy to work with the Estate Agent section. They were friendly, professional and very patient over the ups and downs of the sale of a piece of Agricultural land.
Garnham H Bewley - East Grinstead
73-75 London Road, East Grinstead, West Sussex, RH19 1EQ
(12 reviews)
16th May 2026 (24 weeks ago)Had Garnham H Bewley provide me a valuation not knowing what my house was worth after 15 years here and after some recent upgrades carried out. Very knowledgeable of the local area, on what my house was worth and what it would likely sell for. If I do decide to move I’ll definitely use them in the future. Very friendly, enthusiastic but not pushy like other agents.
6th Oct 2026 (28 days ago)It has been a difficult two years selling our house. Our estate agent was always committed to helping us all the way. I couldn’t recommend them enough
23rd Jul 2026 (15 weeks ago)Chris and team were immensely helpful in handling the sale of our home, helping to steer us through the process. Communications were frequent and clear and they were proactive in seeing the whole thing through.
4th Jul 2022 (4 years ago)terrible attendance. I was attended by a gentleman and I was very embarrassed. I felt like rubbish. me and my husband were treated like nothing. I believe because we are immigrants. I do not recommend this agency to anyone!
15th Aug 2026 (11 weeks ago)We didn't sell, had hardly any viewings. They said the market was bad at the moment which may have been the case, but it was more the lack of communication that made us decide to try someone else.
29th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)Poor communication and eager to stop price after just 2 weeks
21st Oct 2026 (13 days ago)Ben and the team were absolutely brilliant throughout - they helped us find a home and were like friends to us throughout - highly
Recommend
28th Nov 2025 (11 mo. ago)I asked Le Grys to sell my house and was delighted with the service from start to finish. Le Grys created an attractive marketing campaign that really highlighted the strengths and unique features of the house the photos and overall presentation were excellent. They also managed the viewings with great care and efficiency, giving me clear feedback after each visit. I highly recommend them to everyone looking to sell à property.- 12th Sep 2025 (1 year ago)Yes it was a good experience took longer to go sale agreed then I wanted but the market is slow at the moment. 31st Aug 2026 (9 weeks ago)Would appear the house was over valued by the estate agent so setting wrong expectations about what price could be achieved. Minimal viewings Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage No communication from the estate agent I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.

23rd Oct 2026 (11 days ago)Roberts Adams had the pleasure if showing us a few properties. He was very friendly. We appreciated his knowledge about the area and homes we where shown. We found the perfrct detached property in a quiet spot located in East Grinstead. Cailean Burns managed the sale and was very supportive and prompt with coming back to our enquiries especially with the vendor. Thank you so much Cailean. Appreciated your professionalism. Highly recommend using Connels to find your next property.
