Paul Vincent was very quick to respond to calls and emails, and provided me with all the information I asked for. Josh was also great for showing me around the property whenever I requested it and for giving me information during the viewing, while allowing me the freedom to browse as long as I needed.

Felt I had to leave a review as the family and I were really impressed with the way she presented herself and handled the viewings. She was professional, well informed, not pushy, excellent rapport with the kids and didn’t rush us. Having viewed alot of properties with other Southampton agents recently and been underwhelmed with the service levels and levels of professionalism it was great to meet an agent who did things properly. The process of responding to my enquiries, booking viewings and confirming was also seamless. Shame there aren’t more agents like Keira. My buying process wasn't straight forward but she was always on hand to answer questions and reassure me. This is especially great as a first time buyer, the process can feel overwhelming but Ali was amazing every step of the way! 10/10 would recommend to anyone currently looking to buy.

They are the first party involved in a sale I have ever wanted to use again. You are dealing with humans who understand the overall context of the sale, not an automated workflow of Bot like responses.

After waiting for days with no contact, I chased it up and got told again they were waiting for viewing dates. One day later I checked and the property has been let.........<br><br>A few months back got ghosted too regarding viewing another property.<br><br>If this is their customer service at the very beginning, would you want to rent out with them?<br><br>Big fat no.

He made what was, potentially, a stressful experience simple and easy. Do look into engaging them if you are considering selling - you won’t be disappointed.

Both the experiences have been great and Charters have always stood out in terms of the service quality they offer (esp compared to other agencies). Tom in particular has been very helpful throughout the process from managing the sales negotiation to sales progression and has always been approachable and very responsive with regards to any questions we had. The rest of the team we have spoken to, Lottie, Paul and Alex have been great to work with as well.

3rd Jul 2026 (24 days ago)I had a very disappointing experience with this agency. In my view, they repeatedly failed to manage the tenancy properly and then tried to shift responsibility onto the tenant and the landlord, creating unnecessary conflict between both sides.<br><br>The main issue was their delay and lack of action. Cleaning and related tenancy matters were left unresolved for months, despite being their responsibility to coordinate. As a result, the situation became much worse than it needed to be, and the landlord ended up having to spend extra money because of the agency’s poor handling and delays.<br><br>Instead of taking responsibility for their own failure, they appeared to frame the issue as a dispute between the tenant and the landlord. I found this extremely unprofessional. A letting agency should help resolve problems fairly and efficiently, not escalate tensions to cover up its own negligence.<br><br>Based on my experience, I would not recommend this agency to tenants or landlords.
