He was extremely helpful throughout and went above and beyond when we hit a bump in the road taking it upon himself to sort a mistake my accountant had made. 9th Mar 2026 (15 weeks ago)I would strongly advise against using this agency. We had an offer accepted by a landlord and were sent the contract and all payment details late Friday afternoon. Interestingly, they don’t take holding deposits (claiming they "don't operate that way"), yet they expected us to sign and transfer a very large sum of money immediately without having our questions answered. By Monday morning, we had cleared all queries, completed references, and signed the contract. After being told to wait for the landlord's "green light" for several hours while we were ready to pay, we were suddenly told the landlord had accepted another identical offer. The excuse given was that the "market is competitive," which is a poor cover for unprofessionalism. They wasted our time, energy, and personal data. Avoid if you want a transparent or reliable process.

11th Jun 2026 (8 days ago)Charlotte and Chealsie are fabulous. They are efficient and helpful and amongst the best estate agents I have dealt with. Their communication is timely and nothing is too much trouble. They really go the extra mile, responding to questions and issues outside of working hours. If you want trust worthy, fair and proactive estate agents then they are for you. Professional, friendly and able to take some of the stress out of the London housing market. Thank you both.

Ali at Hamptons stood out in particular since he directly understood our need, and once we found the apartment, he made sure everything was going as fast as possible. So glad it worked out, and a particular thank you to Ali!

9th Nov 2022 (3 years ago)AVOID! both as a tenant and as a landlord. I'm a tenant in a property under their portfolio, I'm facing severe lack of communication and total lack of integrity. I'm in the unfortunate situation of desperately needing to move out early due to personal health reasons. I can't move out until Maskells finds a replacement tenant. Their approach has been to try and profit from the situation, which I personally find morally wrong. Rather than trying to replace me, they are putting an out of the market price to try and squeeze extra pounds of commission without any risk, as the property is not vacant. Communication related to the process has also been lacking and not transparent. Tenants: you are better off with some other agencies. Landlords: find someone with integrity to manage your properties.
18th Feb 2026 (17 weeks ago)I have just rented an apartment in London through the White Estates agency and I have been very happy with their level of service.<br><br>The apartment was exactly as depicted in the photos, no negative surprises. I wanted to make multiple inspections and they were always available with less than 24h notice in order to let me in.<br><br>Important note: they were the only ones managing the specific apartment. You couldn't find it in multiple (often misleading) websites.<br><br>They have taken care of all the minor adjustments I have asked for prior to my check -in and they went above and beyond with replacing used items with brand new ones (like the moquette in the bedroom), something I hadn't asked.<br><br>There were some minor things that needed fixing which I discovered only after I lived in the place for some days and the agency's response was always the same: fast and efficient.<br><br>They also assisted my with the transfer of the utility bills under my name and the necessary bureaucracy which can be a pain in London.<br><br>Special thanks to Stefania & Karl for making my move to London smooth and pleasant.<br><br>I definitely recommend White Estates to anyone looking to rent a house in London.<br><br>Athanasios Mougios

2nd Apr 2026 (11 weeks ago)Excellent customer service! In early January I spotted an apartment for rent — it was exactly what I was looking for in terms of location, price, and everything else. I contacted Ruben via WhatsApp, and he called me back immediately. The viewing was arranged for the next day. I visited the apartment and it was love at first sight. As I’m not English, I wasn’t very familiar with the rental process in London. Ruben took the time to explain everything, was super efficient, and always available whenever I had questions. Within 24 hours he told me the landlord had agreed in principle to my offer, and the formal process began. Thuraya Al-Haidari then handled everything — again, always helpful and attentive. I wanted to change the sofa, the bed linen, etc., and the team negotiated with the landlord so that everything could be arranged for my comfort. On the day I moved in, the apartment was spotless — and there was even a little bouquet of flowers! I have to say that before this I was renting just around the corner through Draker, and there’s simply no comparison — here they truly care about their clients, not just their wallets as at Draker. A big thank you to the whole team Thuraya and Ruben MERCI !!!

16th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)RUN AWAY from this agency. I had a deeply disappointing experience dealing with Mr. William Delaney, Anne Hughes, and Coopers of London during a serious disrepair issue involving leaks, water damage, lack of hot water, and pest concerns. Communication was consistently confrontational, dismissive, and completely lacking professionalism. Rather than addressing urgent tenant concerns constructively, Mr. Delaney repeatedly minimized issues and adopted a hostile tone in written correspondence. We documented everything carefully with photographs, videos, and emails, which were later escalated. Instead of resolving the issues, the agency argued technicalities and unreasonable terms. We endured over 3 months of disruptive construction works while still being charged full rent, despite parts of the property — including the bathroom — being unusable. We were simply told to use a nearby gym bathroom, which was unacceptable. There were also repeated access attempts without proper consent or coordination, creating significant stress and disruption. During COVID, as an asthmatic tenant trying to avoid unnecessary exposure, I requested viewings take place in our presence and provided multiple alternative time slots. Instead of handling this respectfully, William insulted us and my medical concerns were qualified as “spurious.” He went ahead to the viewing without our consent. As tenants, we remained cooperative and repeatedly tried to accommodate access and repairs. Unfortunately, this was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a property agency, and I would strongly discourage anyone from renting through Coopers of London. Had a smooth, sympathetic (they gave me a week to obtain my right to rent, I was moving from abroad) experience starting - special thanks to Sarah Kelly and Charlotte Oborne. Since the start of the rental period, have had superb support from Anuj Jariwala regarding all kinds of questions, communications with the landlord, installations, repairs, and emergencies. Thrilled with the service so far!

27th Nov 2025 (6 mo. ago)ABSOLUTELY AVOID THIS PLACE. If there was only zero stars… A couple of weeks ago, water from the men’s toilet on our floor was literally flowing down the stairs and also through elevator shaft. The smell was disgusting, and there was visible sewage which we have to step into to be able to exit. And no - this wasn’t the first time something like this has happened. We had no choice but to walk through that filthy water just to get out of the office. When I went to reception to ask for the bare minimum - reimbursement for cleaning my shoes - the regional manager, Farah, couldn’t have been more dismissive. Instead of helping, she snapped that they “aren’t liable for damages,” talked down to me like I was her child, and then turned away mid-conversation as if I wasn’t worth her time and said ‘you clearly don’t understand’ then turned her head towards display. This one clearly loves drama, seeing what other residents have to say. Maybe some management or how to deal with people classes... I just wanted to find some base ground as the damage was made from their fault, but they clearly don’t care. I had to spend £30 from my money to clean my shoes. If this is how management treats people, it tells you everything you need to know. Avoid this place at all costs!

Heartfelt thanks go to Victoria Peters and Laurence Lai for their outstanding professionalism and patient guidance throughout the process of selling my Notting Hill apartment. A friend who has known Laurence for many years first put me in touch with Youhome and from my very first meeting I felt reassured I was in very experienced and knowledgable hands. That impression never wavered. Not only was the marketing of my apartment very professionally done, but throughout the conveyancing process both Laurence and Victoria were extremely helpful, calm, responsive and kind with Victoria always on hand to liaise with the buyer, smoothing the whole process considerably.

We found the agency’s conduct throughout the transaction to be deeply unprofessional. Key information was withheld, communication was evasive, and there appeared to be no regard for transparency or ethical standards. Rather than acting as honest brokers, they consistently acted in ways that undermined trust and fairness. We are now dealing with the legal and financial consequences of this experience — and I would strongly advise others to be extremely wary.
