3rd Jul 2026 (17 weeks ago)Our experience renting through Druce has been one of broken promises, poor service, and a complete lack of professionalism and accountability. An all round horrible experience.<br><br>We did everything asked of us, promptly and in good faith. We signed the tenancy, passed all referencing and guarantor checks, and paid our deposit and a full month's rent without a single delay. In return, we were handed a flat that was nowhere near ready to live in. What is even more shocking that the landlord had not been aware of the majority of this, showing the way in which Druce "take care" of their clients...<br><br>Despite professional cleaning being an agreed condition of our tenancy, the flat was not cleaned. It was left full of the previous occupant's belongings. There was broken glass left on the balcony. We were given only one key for two tenants. The bed we were promised was never provided, leaving a bedroom of a two-bedroom flat unusable. And, discovered by us, and not disclosed by them, there were mouse droppings and large holes throughout the flat, along with a long list of other defects: missing radiator valves leaving rooms with no heating, broken cupboards, broken toilet seats, a loose electrical socket, and more. None of it was mentioned to us before we signed and paid.<br><br>Druce openly admitted to us that they had rushed the process to meet the move-in date. Yet when we raised that the flat was unusable, we were told it had been "our choice" not to move in. We had already given up our previous homes on the strength of that date. As a result, we spent a week without a home, staying with friends, all while paying full rent for a property we could not live in. When asked for a deduction to the next months rent, they declined, as well as declining to take accountability for any of this.<br><br>Nothing was resolved proactively. Every single step forward came only after repeated chasing, formal complaints, and escalation on our part. For a firm that presents itself the way Druce does, the standard of service, honesty, and basic care has been genuinely shocking.<br><br>If you are considering renting through Druce, think very carefully for the service you are paying for. We would not want anyone else to go through what we have. Or even better, DO NOT USE DRUCE!

The team including Karim and Daisy were great to deal with right from the start. I needed a flat quite soon before starting my course, and they were able to quickly begin the tenancy and arrange the move in process within a few days.<br><br>Throughout my stay, Karim and the maintenance team were very knowledgeable and able to quickly fix any issues that came up.<br><br>Would highly recommend!

I’ve appreciated his guidance and communication and am a bit sad to read other negative comments as they are in stark contrast to our own experience. I would highly recommend.

25th Jan 2026 (9 mo. ago)The most unprofessional Estate agents ever. My son purchased a property through these people ( well so he thought) he had his offer accepted which was the highest, he gave his solicitor details,had his mortgage ready, all was fine ( so we thought) We met the executors of the previous owner and was told it had been sold to an equity company at a much lower price. She explained that my son's offer was never shared with her and that she would have accepted it. It is disgusting the way that Julia has treated my son, and strung him along. Best advice is for no one to deal with this unprofessional set up, although I have noticed not many people in Balham sell through them. It only seems to be garages or Du cane court. I will be contacting the estate agents ombudsman about this situation 1st thing. Do not waste time with this outfit. There are some fantastic friendly professional agents in Balham and Tooting Bec. I am shocked that there are still some questionable agents around.- 20th Dec 2021 (4 years ago)Sadly I bank with them and I won’t be changing till I find another Alternative which has 0% interest. This bank was much better when it was called IBB!!! Service was much better then! The customer service team on the phone are useless , no knowledge of customer service at all and seem to not care and rude. Their always leaving me on hold for ages and when I get through them they’re unable to help! Always logs me out of the app!! Even though my security details are correct it keeps saying it’s incorrect !! Then it ends up blocking me from verifying with my security details! Tells me to go in the branch!! Only one branch in central London which is far away from me!! I’ve reset my security details three times as they’ve repeatedly done the same thing so I’ve written the security details down to avoid this but unfortunately it happened again!! Open more branches in other cities !! Improve customer service and employ more people who are bothered to work at Al Ryan!!

Always available, always charming, always diligent in following up the slightest lead. 21st Feb 2026 (8 mo. ago)Visited Harrods recently and overall it was an okay experience, but not as pleasant as expected. The store itself is beautiful and iconic, with impressive interiors, luxury brands, and a wide variety of products spread across different floors. It definitely feels like a famous London shopping destination and is worth visiting at least once for the experience.<br>However, it was very crowded and at times felt overwhelming, especially in popular sections. Some staff were helpful and professional, but others seemed a bit distant or uninterested, which slightly affected the overall experience.

My partner and I came to Ash at GrowPortfolio after a previous landlord pulled out of our rental agreement days before move in. Given the urgency of our search, Ash was patient, reassuring and quick to get us in by our previous move date. Not only that, he handled our anxiety in the most kind and polite manner, which really helped humanise the process (where normally it feels very vapid in London).<br><br>If you are considering a property with GrowPortfolio, do it.
