8th Apr 2024 (12 days ago)Offer to buy a house was accepted and it was up to our surveyors to highlight a Grade 2 listing. Whilst Knight Frank ‘empathise’ we are at considerable out of pocket expense. Property now correctly advertised as listed and whatever the background of who claims what, the agent is expected to have carried out due diligence to confirm facts of what they are marketing. Knight Frank Exeter blame their customer and empathise with potential buyer where legislation states an agent must disclose all information before costs related to surveying or conveying are undertaken. However, this shoddy outfit shirk all responsibility; what a reflection of where we are in todays world. Referring to ombudsman as customer service are running on pastoral ‘empathy’ rather than address a problem where potential buyers remain considerably out of pocket. Our contract was with Knight Frank and their codes of ethics and standards where due diligence is the foundation. The Exeter office has failed miserably to address their duty of professional responsibility. Buyers (and sellers) beware! (investigation response was that "we didn't know, not out fault") With a pending county court claim all is resolved!
24th Jan 2021 (3 years ago)Hello,first of all they didnt sell our house,we showed a few buyers around as C&W dont dont seem to do this on a weekend,the feedback we got from the potenial buyers is that C&W where difficult to get hold of (covid didnt help)for viewings.A few of them didnt know various particulars about the house which C&W should of told them.

We originally found our first home through Mathers 5 years ago, and we had no doubt about going back to them. Trafford kept us up to date at all times, and we really appreciate his hard work. If we are looking to sell in the future, we will definitely get back in touch!

18th Dec 2021 (2 years ago)We recently purchased our first home with Philip Martin. All the staff were extremely helpful, informative and friendly, specially Aaron Davey. As first time buyers, we were totally clueless with the whole process but Aaron was always on hand to answer any queries and guide us! He was kind enough to help solve some hurdles along the road which made the whole process stress free for us! We will certainly be in touch with Aaron again when we come to sell our property to find our next home.

12th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)Admittedly it’s been 18 months since I dealt with Carl at Sbc ,he has a lazy attitude not interested happy to charge me £600 for an advert and rubbish online photos and then pretty much did nothing to try and sell my business I did all the work and still never sold it or got a result waste of money waste of time , like I said it’s been 18 months but I feel I’m still entitled to leave a review. I would never ever recommend them ever to any Buisness , at that time I had an apology email from Carl but I’m sorry it wasn’t enough, my Buisness went stagment online and I lost a fortune , £600 down the drain , take your money then they run .

Nothing was too much trouble, going above and beyond on numerous occasions to get the job done. 24th Jul 2021 (2 years ago)Scott was the letting agent for a property I rented, ending in July 2021. I have been a renter for a while now and my recent experience of renting through SCR Lettings has definitely been the best one. As someone else has mentioned, Scott is a rare type of letting agent. He doesn’t automatically side with the landlord no matter what but takes any issue into consideration and acts very fairly and ethically. I was lucky not to have too many issues with my recent rental house but this could also be due to the fact that Scott also makes sure to take on trustworthy landlords. I would not hesitate to recommend SCR Lettings to renters, landlords, or anyone buying or selling a house, independent agents are the way to go!
29th Mar 2024 (22 days ago)I can't recommend Dema and The Private Realtor enough, not only did she succeed where other high street agents did not, but ran a tight and very efficient process which led to a successful completion. The Private Realtor actually sells your house, it does not just show it, and there is a big difference, especially at higher price points - and this goes to the promotional videos (not just photos) - to the full service as well. This is how a house should be sold - with happy buyers and sellers. Ellerby Street, Fulham SW6.
21st Mar 2024 (30 days ago)Enthusiastic agent. The photographer was thorough. Photographs were excellent. The person doing the house plan did a great job. Listings on several portals resulted in an acceptable offer in less than two weeks. The firm Cornish Bricks suggested to do the conveyancing have been spot on with keeping us informed about progress with the sale.

The valuation was 'spot on' and communication throughout the whole process, from beginning to end, was first rate. Sound advice was given with care and consideration at 'tricky' moments in the process; this allayed fears and reduced stress! Thank you again to you all.
25th Dec 2023 (17 weeks ago)Pilkingtn Estates were the first firm to give us an estimate incorporating a range of prices which could influence how rapidly the property achieved a sale. Their descriprion of the prooperty was entirely positive with no sense olf overselling it to potential buyers.
