23rd May 2024 (2 years ago)Bit strange, as my sister applied for a rental property and I was to be the guarantor they denied my application even though my payslips were valid? Stating I earn half the salary I put down? They advised me that home let denied my application but they were Lieing as home let has written it in email stating the above. MILLIE I think her name is the, she has been dealing with me on two occasions and for some reason both applications have been denied and then compulsively Lieing to me and my family. To be honest she’s bad reputation to the company. She doesn’t even know left from right let alone a guarantor. Would not recommend this company at all I don’t know if it’s racial profiling but to be honest it feels like that. Would advise people to stay away!
18th May 2023 (3 years ago)Huge thank you to Jeanette snd Mary who helped with the purchase of our new home. It was quite stressful for us at times and we had a few (a lot!) bumps in the road. We were very dependent on the team especially towards the end of the buying process for many reasons. I truly believe without their help on an almost daily basis we would still be waiting for the sale to have been finalised. We are now 4 weeks in our new home and are so happy. The stress long forgotten. The team are Very professional, very “on it” and also want to do the best for the buyer. Thank you all.

22nd Oct 2026 (8 days ago)Pattinson in Norton are a great agency. They were very helpful with myself and my boyfriend getting our 1st place together. As soon as we decided to with the Flat we looked at, the process of referencing was sent off as soon as we filled in the paperwork.<br><br>If your renting I would recommend this agency as they always seem to have well presented flats and house inside and out on their website for an affordable price.

I've been dealing with two other estate agents recently and Michael Poole Billingham were by 'far and away' the best. Debbie was very friendly and gave us all good support and advice. She communicated with us throughout the process of the sale. I can honestly this has been the best experience I have ever had in selling a house. Michael Poole Billingham and Debbie in particular were exceptional.- 9th Apr 2026 (6 mo. ago)I was impressed with the initial meeting with Colleen who valued the property. She was knowledgeable,punctual ,a great communicator and efficient. I was extremely happy with Clare who throughout the process was always efficient ,friendly,supportive and conscientious .She replied to and resolved any queries promptly.The communication about viewings was very good and we were reminded about viewings the day before. I was very disappointed by the Sales Progressor who was difficult to speak to ,worked short hours and failed to contact us promptly causing difficulty and additional stress.

17th Apr 2026 (6 mo. ago)The valuation was great, the woman was lovely and photos were excellent. The communication stopped after a few weeks. The house was listed with 2 agents, when I did a viewing with the other party they said about how they'd tried to contact holbrooks and couldn't get through. I received a call about a viewing after no contact for weeks and told them the there had been an offer on the house and was sols stc, the woman rudely said you could have told us. I would have if there had been any contact! Overall wouldn't recommend them.

He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and his friendly, professional approach has made the whole experience so much easier. On the day of the move my estate agent wasn’t even aware we were moving, Janet was dealing with our purchase property but assisted and supported us through a very difficult day with incompetent solicitors. I can never thank her enough for all her help.

Like almost all houses purchases there were twists and turns and quite a few challenges along the way. Throughout we felt the whole team were with us and working in our best interests to get a result (not just a sale). I would particularly pick out Joy who was top notch. She got information quickly when we asked for it, she was responsive, helpful, knowledgable friendly, and understanding. She went above and beyond and when things got a bit challenging her guidance was always on the nail, always invaluable. I’d also give a shout out to Sally who we met early on and again when we collected the keys. This is a professional team with bags of experience and just the right amount of approachability. They’ve been a joy to work with. Highly recommended.
