1st Aug 2024 (1 year ago)As a prospective buyer, I have found the staff at HPS to be extremely helpful. In my opinion they are managing their sales in a timely manner from the point of the For Sale board being erected to then being able to view a property straight away, there was no delay between the point of it being advertised ...with the board and internet. In my opinion this demonstrates their efficiency and is the reason why I would recommend them.

1st Apr 2026 (18 days ago)During the process of selling my house I dealt with most of the staff in the Beverley branch at some point and found them all very professional and helpful. For the most part I dealt with Kara, who impressed me with her ability to get things moving and get me answers when I wasn't getting any updates from my original solicitor (replacement solicitor far better).

We were regularly kept up to date and communication was always good. We were very happy with the whole team in York and they were supportive every step of the way. Thank you

The communication was awful, even after asking for someone to contact me to discuss matters my requests were ignored. When I decided to leave, no one bothered to ask me why. Strange behaviour for a high street agency.

14th Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)I send an enquiry about a property and no reply and then they didn't want to help me so I said today I said DSS no reply or Nothing this is pure blank discrimination book of someone is autistic I think for enquiries and not even got back to me because I'm autistic and didn't want to help me find a house in York is fine by me this will go to a civil clean

Always professional, friendly, helpful & great customer service. They always replied quickly to any query & you felt you mattered to them & not just for the sale. We were consistently delighted with the quality, efficiency and professionalism of their service. We could see clearly how they represented and assisted the vendor whilst offering excellent advice and support to us, the buyers. Their clear communication with both parties and their legal representatives made the whole process as smooth as possible. Calm, cheerful and supportive staff really make a difference during home moving. They ensured the property was accurately priced and marketed to the right audience immediately. As a result, there were far more viewings than with the previous agent and the property sold within a couple of months. Both Claire and Alex kept me well informed every step of the way. I would highly recommend.
