1st Oct 2024 (1 year ago)From the first contact over the phone to the viewings and subsequent sale of the property to myself, Rachel and the whole team at F&C have been amazing to deal with and professionally excellent. Rachel was understanding of my position as a buyer and really relaid that the vendors which lead to the acceptance of offer that all parties are very happy with. It has been a great example of how to deal with both parties involved equally to maximise the outcome for both. Couldn’t recommend enough!
1st Aug 2024 (2 years ago)As a prospective buyer, I have found the staff at HPS to be extremely helpful. In my opinion they are managing their sales in a timely manner from the point of the For Sale board being erected to then being able to view a property straight away, there was no delay between the point of it being advertised ...with the board and internet. In my opinion this demonstrates their efficiency and is the reason why I would recommend them.

Especially impressed by the quality of the viewings where are assigned viewing agent knew our property in and out, and was able to guage interest extremely effecitvely

We have been looking for our ideal home for quite a long time, and thanks to the coordinated work of the team, this process was as comfortable as possible. Bryony was always in touch, promptly answered any questions, offered. We were very pleased with the knowledge of the market, attention to our wishes. We got exactly that beautiful new house we dreamed of! We will definitely recommend the agency and Bryony personally to all our friends and acquaintances. The communication was awful, even after asking for someone to contact me to discuss matters my requests were ignored. When I decided to leave, no one bothered to ask me why. Strange behaviour for a high street agency.
28th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)Just finished a tenancy, which was almost 5 years. They were great from start to finish. Moving in was smooth, quick to respond to queries. Repairs were always done timely with no issues. They were also flexible with my moving out date and I even got my bond back! Thank you :)

20th Jun 2026 (6 weeks ago)Our house sold to the first viewers within the first week of being marketed so we've only had limited contact with the Estate agents so far but everyone has been extremely friendly and helpful. They had great knowledge of the house and the area and were able to provide the buyers with lots of useful information about the house when they came for the viewing. They've been very responsive in getting things moving quickly. Very pleased with the service we've received so far.

From our very first viewing right through to completion, our experience with Roundthwaite & Woodhead has been first class. We had the pleasure of dealing with Sue Pearson throughout the entire process, and she was simply outstanding. She was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and couldn’t have done more to help us every step of the way. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and she made what can often be a stressful process feel straightforward and enjoyable. What impressed us even more was that Sue took the time to check in with us after completion to make sure we were settled and happy with our purchase. That level of care and customer service is becoming increasingly rare and was very much appreciated. Having bought many properties over the years, we’ve dealt with numerous estate agents, but Roundthwaite & Woodhead have genuinely outshone them all. Their professionalism, communication and personal approach have been exceptional from start to finish. We would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Roundthwaite & Woodhead to anyone looking to buy, sell or let property in Ryedale and the surrounding areas. 3rd May 2026 (13 weeks ago)Connected to them via Rightmove for property in Scarborough. Can't help put you through to Scarborough Estate agents section. The estate agent department in Scarborough have recently informed me they are under no obligation to tell me anything negative about a property, they do not have to disclose anything such as management fund arrears.....even though the same company manage the building...

20th Jul 2026 (14 days ago)Having known people who have successfully sold through Symonds and Greenham and being impressed by their social media marketing they were my first choice of estate agents. Sadly my experience was not positive from the point of signing up onwards. Lack of communication throughout, photos taken for the listing but then nothing went out on social media and when I queried was told ‘that needed a different camera’ Why not do the two together instead of putting me to the bother of getting the house perfect for a second time, the video was never done at all despite several enquiries. Viewings were not always fed back in a timely manner, occasions I’ve just had to find out visiting the dashboard which often was not updated, other times it’s simply been a text message which I find incredibly rude. I’m the customer at least make the effort to speak to me rather than a cold text. Sadly due to all this and nearly a year on the market the house is still not sold and I ultimately made the decision to give notice to them. Would I recommend them, sadly no I would not!

29th Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)We sold two properties through DMA Filey. 1st was late mother in law flat, Handled professionally and sold in the value we were happy with. 2nd property our home sold to us by David at DMA almost 25years ago, went on the market, again realised a price we were happy with, David, Sam and the team were friendly, professional and helpful. Throughly recommended them Thanks
