When first putting the property on the market he kept me informed and the same during the viewing. If there was more than 5 stars you would have got them Thankyou very much
5th Nov 2022 (3 years ago)My wife and I had the pleasure of engaging Sam Tomlinson as our selling agent for our property in Maidenhead, Berkshire, United Kingdom. Before we engaged Sam, we had sought out many other realtors in the area - even some of the big national brands. Unfortunately, the majority of them were unprofessional & tardy and there were some even to point of non responsiveness and or over commitments that simply were not attainable. From the time we first engaged Sam right until to the point when we closed the sale of the house, Sam exemplified expertise and professionalism to the core. The entire selling process went so smoothly despite Sam being in Maidenhead in the UK, and my wife and I were between California and Dubai. All our meetings were professional and highly productive albeit they being virtual. Sam was extremely courteous, highly responsive and very knowledgeable and advised us every step of the way. Despite Sam having to be away for a week, all matters pertaining to the sale was handled by another colleague without any disruption to the selling process. Sam’s professional advise on the indicative selling price, to his recommendations for re painting our house to fixing the electrical fixtures all led to a quick sale of our property at our expected selling price. We sold the house within less than a month of open viewings and closed the transaction within 2 months. The amazing this was this was all accomplished in an era where house prices were dropping and interest rates skyrocketing. Therefore it gives me great pleasure in recommending Sam Tomlinson and the good folks at Braxton for any real estate services in Maidenhead. Braxtons and Sam has my utmost confidence!

However Alex Barton at Strutt and Parker Newbury exceeded our expectations with his calm, extremely professional and level headed approach. Alex’s knowledge of the market and the local area is second to non, and he was always on the other end of the phone be it for reassurance or updates on viewings etc. I really felt as though our hand was held throughout the process and nothing was ever a problem and always delivered with a smile! The marketing of our home was exceptional both from Newbury as well as Head Office. It really was a pleasure selling our home through S&P and I would highly recommend Alex to anybody needing to sell their own most cherished treasure. Thank you S&P!

8th Apr 2026 (6 mo. ago)Extremely disappointing experience with Adams Estates. The checkout process felt unfair and heavily biased against the tenant. Many items listed in the report were inaccurate or related to normal wear and tear after two years of living in the property. Some conditions mentioned, such as mould, marks, and general ageing, were already present when I moved in, yet they were still included as issues at checkout. There were also claims about missing items that were actually present, which makes it hard to trust the accuracy of the inspection. The property was not newly renovated when I moved in, but the expectations at checkout felt unrealistic. I am willing to pay reasonable charges where genuinely justified, but the overall handling of this situation has seriously affected my trust in this agency.

Our property was sold & completed within four months, and throughout the entire process we received outstanding support and communication.<br>The team generated a strong level of interest, arranged numerous viewings, and kept us regularly updated on feedback, the buyers' position, and progress within the chain. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail gave us complete confidence at every stage.<br>What could have been a 'stressful process' was handled efficiently and seamlessly. We would not hesitate to recommend them and would certainly use them again in the future.
