Lose all your deposit because they require you to pay for the time they spend looking for a new tenant, even though you gave a 1-month notice and the contract didn't state that you need to do so. 2. Not receive any support from them; for example, the bin was missing from day one, and they ignored all the emails I sent requesting a new bin instead of sharing with the neighbour. 3. Pay for equipment repairs (washing machine, water heater, etc.) even though the contract states that the landlord is responsible for repairs. 4.Receive an email from them asking you to pay your rent to a new account that is different from the one in the contract. They can claim that they never received the rent, so be aware!Farrell Heyworth - Thornton Cleveleys

19th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)I am writing to formally complain about the unprofessional, nonchalant, and slow service I received from this estate agency. My experience with the team has been consistently disappointing, and I feel compelled to bring these issues to the public's attention. Firstly, I have found it extremely difficult to get in touch with the office. Phone calls are rarely answered, and messages left are not returned in a timely manner. This lack of communication is highly frustrating and unprofessional. On one occasion, I tried to arrange a second viewing of Rectory Farm and proposed several appointment options. However, none of these options were accommodated, which caused significant inconvenience. Additionally, during another viewing, the agent was extremely late and informed me only upon arrival that there was a different entrance to the property. This crucial information should have been communicated in advance to avoid confusion and wasted time. The most disappointing incident occurred when I was trying to follow up on a property. Despite multiple attempts to reach the office, my calls were not returned. When I finally managed to speak with Izzie, I was informed that the property had been sold subject to contract, and there was no intention of further engagement on the matter. This lack of transparency and follow-up is unacceptable. I hope they take this complaint seriously and address these issues promptly to improve on their service, for both buyers and vendors sake (especially for the vendor who is clearly receiving a substandard service).

6th Feb 2019 (5 years ago)After having spoke with every estate agent in Blackpool while looking for investment properties to buy, it became very clear, very quickly that Christie King were the most professional of them all. Not only that they have gone above and beyond in what they have done for me, they continue to provide me with a outstanding service. I have purchased one property through them and now use them to manage my investment property with another being added soon. They are a small team with excellent local knowledge and expertise, Oliver looks after me mainly and I can't recommend them highly enough.

Right from the initial meeting and valuation they have been professional, courteous and friendly and have kept us in touch all throughout the viewing process and with our eventual successful sale. Jonny, Emma and Jenny are great to deal with and the whole process have been stress free. I recommend them wholeheartedly and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

28th Nov 2023 (7 mo. ago)In the recent past I’ve had dealings with other agents including online agents and have been very disapointed, Unique has proved to be unique. I’ve been so surprised both as a buyer and a seller at the attention to detail, the enthusiasm and professionalism. I know that it is advisable to get quotes from 3 agents before selling but given past experience I stuck with Unique from the beginning and have not regretted it. I would advise anyone looking for value for money to look no further.

From the first viewing and accommodating any further viewers we requested, keeping us up to date throughout the process with brilliant communication and answering any queries we had. They've made the experience a pleasant one and we would not hesitate in using their services again in the future!
5th Jul 2024 (22 days ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
