14th Sep 2026 (4 days ago)? 1/5<br>Very disappointing experience.<br>A few years ago, I was due to rent a property in Ely through William H Brown. Everything had been arranged and I had already given notice on my previous home. On the very day I was supposed to collect the keys, I was told that the landlord had changed their mind.<br><br>I had organised everything around the move and was left in an extremely difficult situation, with the real possibility of having nowhere to live. I still remember the stress this caused me and my family.<br><br>I understand that landlords can change their minds, but I expected the agency to make sure everything was secure before allowing me to give notice and prepare to move. Years later, I still remember how badly this was handled. Based on my experience, I would not use them again.

22nd Jan 2026 (7 mo. ago)The whole team at Arkwright’s in Saffron Walden have been a joy to work with. From initial contact, to the sales details - including a very inventive video, made on the only rainy day for weeks and weeks with a ‘Singing in the rain’ sound track! l had several viewings in the first week and an agreed sale within around 2 weeks ( after having been with another agent for 4 months with no viewings at all) The whole process has been easy, efficient, profession, respectful and friendly. I would highly recommend them and especially if you have a slightly quirky property. Thanks to all.

Chris, Stuart and the team were amazing - always returned calls and did what they said they would do. Excellent marketing pack and photos were the best. They sold our home on the 2nd viewing and the whole process was stress free. It is such a great benefit that they have a local office where you can pop in and have a chat if you have any queries - thoroughly recommend Pennells to help with your next move !

From the very beginning of our house purchase Libby has been absolutely brilliant — incredibly helpful, responsive, patient and genuinely lovely to deal with throughout what has been quite an emotional rollercoaster of a house purchase!<br><br>Libby has gone above and beyond to keep us informed, answer all our questions and help us navigate the ups and downs of the process. She has always made us feel like she genuinely cares about helping us find the right home for our family, rather than simply trying to make a sale.<br><br>We also wanted to say a big thank you to David, who has been absolutely fantastic. He has been incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and reassuring when it came to the mortgage side of things. If you need someone who knows their numbers, David is definitely your man!<br><br>My husband works awkward shifts as a paramedic, so we naturally thought it might be difficult to arrange appointments, but David was incredibly flexible and more than happy to work around our schedule and go an extra mile. He made the whole process feel so much easier and less stressful, and we really appreciated how approachable and supportive he was throughout.<br><br>Buying and selling a house can be incredibly stressful, but having Libby and David in our corner has made such a difference!They have both been professional, honest, approachable and genuinely kind.<br><br>We are so grateful for everything they have done for us and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.<br><br>Thank you both so much! 14th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Mislead information. Was advised that if an offer for a house was accepted, the property would be taken off the market ‘subject to contract’.<br>This wasn’t the case. Even though we got as far as having the proceeds with the underwriters and paying fees, the property was still available for the public to ‘outbid’<br>Just became a waste of time.- 4th Sep 2026 (14 days ago)From Phil Nightingale to Matt Pyeman, everything has been professionally and helpfully handled. They were transparent about the process and Karen would always make time to speak to me when I needed to chat. The team at Grace also ensured I was able to get quick viewings at the property when requested. Both Karen and Lewis were very friendly and open, and I appreciate the time they gave me throughout the process.
13th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)I have been looking for the ideal property for over 2 months, have dealt with 7 or 8 different Estate Agency, Sefftons is the first one (and especially Siobhan Smith) to actually listen to what I am searching for and pro actively help me find it. If I was in a position to sell a property I would definitely use them as, as a buyer, I am actively focusing on the properties they have in their portfolio rather then looking at what other agencies have for sale now.
2nd Sep 2026 (16 days ago)Honestly the worst company anyone could go through, little man johnny boy tricker think he’s so brilliant puffing his chest out in front of my kids and partner (a female) while I wasn’t there, raising his voice and pointing his fingers (which we have video evidence), making my two young kids scared and cry! Very unprofessional we put through many complaints about the house and they just checked the jobs off as completed but never even came to do nothing! Then to top it all off he’s now trying to take most of the deposit through “carpet cleaning” which he’s well known for by the looks of things! I wouldn’t trust him with your personal data either because he happily gave us the actual home owners full name and address! We was paying for a 3 bed house for over 6months when environmental health claimed that one bedrooms was unliveable with all the damp and black mould but once again keystones and little man tricker done so little to help out and didn’t care one bit! We left the house and 4 days later it was up to rent, so nothings been fixed!!
