22nd Jan 2026 (9 mo. ago)The whole team at Arkwright’s in Saffron Walden have been a joy to work with. From initial contact, to the sales details - including a very inventive video, made on the only rainy day for weeks and weeks with a ‘Singing in the rain’ sound track! l had several viewings in the first week and an agreed sale within around 2 weeks ( after having been with another agent for 4 months with no viewings at all) The whole process has been easy, efficient, profession, respectful and friendly. I would highly recommend them and especially if you have a slightly quirky property. Thanks to all.

20th Oct 2026 (13 days ago)From the moment I contacted Hannah and the Abbots team to value my property after a messy separation, the service i received for the best part of 3 years was phenomenal, very professional and helpful on every step of the way, took some time because of court orders and difficulties with the ex but have managed to sell the property efficiently and as quickly as humanly possible. I wish I could rate more than 5 stars but I can't. I absolutely highly recommend this team to deal with any property issues no matter what the circumstances, they have felt more like friends then business people. Simon was fantastic during valuation and photos however I only had 3 viewings in 3 months and didn’t receive a lot of communication unless I chased. I appreciate there was nothing much to update me on but the communication wasn’t great overall as would have been nice just to have some check ins

6th Oct 2026 (27 days ago)All of the staff were really helpful in the process of selling my mums home in a difficult situation.<br>From the initial visit and valuation from Ben through to all the ladies in the office including Katherine and Rachel.<br>Nothing was too much trouble for them all.<br>Would highly recommend them.<br>They all worked hard on our behalf and we had an acceptable offer within 2 weeks of going on the market.<br>Extremely pleased with them all.

26th Oct 2026 (7 days ago)Selling my late father’s house was never going to be an easy process, but Briggs were excellent from start to finish.<br>Unfortunately, the sale fell through twice before we finally succeeded on the third attempt. We were very unlucky with the first two sales collapsing, but throughout the process, Briggs remained understanding, patient and supportive.<br>Communication was consistently clear and concise, and any questions or requests were dealt with promptly and professionally. I really appreciated their continued efforts and understanding, particularly given the setbacks and the additional work involved in getting the sale over the line.<br>I was genuinely pleased that we were finally able to complete the sale with Briggs after all their hard work and perseverance. They provided an excellent service during what was a difficult and often frustrating time for our family.<br>I would highly recommend Briggs to anyone looking to sell their property.

20th Aug 2026 (11 weeks ago)We couldn’t recommend Stobart & Hurrell highly enough after they handled the sale of our home.<br><br>Having lived there for over 11 years, selling the house and moving on was a huge step for us as a family, and from the very beginning the team were fantastic. They were professional, friendly, knowledgeable and, most importantly, always there when we needed them.<br><br>The whole process was handled brilliantly. Communication was excellent throughout, we were kept informed at every stage, and whenever the inevitable stresses of moving house cropped up, we always felt we had someone on our side helping to keep things moving.<br><br>What really stood out was the personal service. From our first contact & meeting with Fin, who is a credit to the team, never have I met such an enthusiastic and personable representative of an estate agency.<br><br>I also want to thank Oli & Zak, always there, whenever needed.<br><br>We never felt like just another house on the market, they genuinely cared about the sale and about getting us to the finish line.<br><br>After 11 very happy years in our home, it was quite emotional handing over the keys and closing that chapter, but we couldn’t have asked for a better team to help us do it.<br><br>A huge thank you to everyone at Stobart & Hurrell. 16th Sep 2026 (7 weeks ago)Hizzy were recommended to my sister back in 2022 as a safe pair of hands in Hadleigh and having dealt with another high profile estate agent in the high street (and being highly sceptical about their over-inflated prices and service on another project) I was very happy to stick with the recommendation and I'm very pleased I did.<br><br>With my mother's health declining I first met Lee in summer 2023 to discuss options on selling her house but for one reason or another the house stayed in her ownership until she died later that year. The estate stayed untouched for nearly 2 years but in January this year (2026) I re-established contact and finally met Ross.<br><br>I've bought and sold a fair few properties and am on high alert for Estate agent fluff BUT I was very reassured about his and Lee's response times, flexibility and no-nonsense straight talking. I liked both of them immediately.<br><br>We both knew the market conditions with high interest rates and a general lack of market confidence that the asking price had taken a dive from our first discussions in 2023 and that the sales market was slow but we pushed on with prepping the house to sell and market in March 2026.<br><br>For a modest little house in a quiet year we got plenty of footfall at the house, a handful of offers as well which faltered because of the buyers circumstances but finally we found the right buyer. Legals took a wee bit longer than I would have expected but everyone at Hizzy were really excellent at updating me about updates and news at every turn, whether good or adverse.<br><br>In short I have no hesitation in recommending HIZZY as a very safe pair of hands for a house sale. 'Estate agents' and 'honest' are not always words seen in the same sentence but happily I can say without contradiction they are both. I think they are very experienced and know their stuff and really can't be faulted. I also liked the fact that their premises are tucked away in a modest smart trading estate so they aren't wasting unnecessary money on presentation and high street business rates. As I said above it is all no-nonsense and quietly slick and I can see why they have sold so many houses in Hadleigh and their reputation is growing all the time.<br><br>We completed this morning on my Mum's house and I am very grateful to them for their guidance and support throughout this spring and summer.

25th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)Keystone were great from start to finish. Jonathan was very professional and personable, didn’t push me at all and I was confident my house was in good hands. He got me three offers in the first three weeks and achieved full asking price. After that Sally was great in chasing Solicitors and the other estate agent which in the end was a very long process but she was persistent. Communication was excellent from start to finish and I heard from them almost weekly, more so when necessary. I have no hesitation in recommending them and would definitely use them again.
