From the very start, they were fantastic communicators, professional, proactive, and clearly knew their craft. Within just three months, my property was sold. I honestly couldn’t believe the speed or the expertise of the team, but most importantly, they delivered exactly what they promised. A huge thank you to City & County for making the process feel seamless from start to finish.

14th Apr 2026 (9 weeks ago)I’ve been really disappointed with how things have been handled. Communication has been slow and unclear, especially when it came to something as important as the tenant’s notice. I wasn’t given the exact date it was received or a copy of the notice when I asked, which made it difficult to check that everything was being managed properly. The delays have also made things harder for me when it comes to planning next steps, and it feels like this could have been avoided with more timely and transparent communication. I’m also concerned that the check-out inspection when the tenants moved out was missed, with no one attending as expected. On top of that, the tenants’ deposit has still not been returned, which is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the overall management. Overall, this has not been a positive experience. I would have expected a far more responsive, reliable and professional service.

19th May 2026 (26 days ago)Still Waiting for Deposit Return Over a Month After Moving Out We vacated our rental property on 16th April and the landlord confirmed on 5th May that the property was left clean and in good order, with no deductions proposed from the deposit. Our repayment request and bank details were provided on 8th May and we were advised payment would take “around a week”. Despite repeated follow-ups by email and telephone, we still do not have the deposit funds, a payment date, or any meaningful update from the deposits team over a month after moving out. We have now been told there is a backlog due to staff absence, however communication and handling of the situation have been extremely poor throughout. Very disappointing experience for what should have been a straightforward deposit return process.

The team went above and beyond with supporting me, chasing solicitors and keeping the whole chain on track. Even the evening of my move they were there to support and correct things that should have been done by other professionals. Thank you to the whole team: Jack for showing me the property I bought, Lesley for chasing and keeping me informed of developments, Lauren who negotiated my purchase and was there when I needed her and Robert who on my behalf conducted some pretty challenging conversations. THANK YOU TEAM ??????

15th May 2026 (30 days ago)The worst estate agent in the world. Refused to make an appointment for me to see a house despite the fact I am a cash buyer and ready to buy. It seems they preferred someone who wanted to buy at a lower price. When I sugested that if they wouldnt make an appointment I just go around and speak to the seller myself they defamed me to him to scare him off seeing me. I am retired, a cash buyer in the local area, having just completed on another property sale. Unbelievably incompetent and dishonest. AVOID at all costs if you really want to sell your property!
4th Jun 2026 (10 days ago)These are some of the worst estate agents I’ve ever dealt with. Put an offer in on a house 2 weeks ago and have provided all evidence requested and was told my offer was one of the best ones and that I should feel confident. Since then it’s been impossible to get hold of anyone who can give any information about what is going on. They asked my conveyancer to call to confirm the stage of my chain and the manager/director told my solicitor that the case had been taken away from the team member dealing with it, as she’d apparently been telling all the prospective buyers what they wanted to hear and stringing us all along for weeks. I have spent all morning trying to get hold of the manager to try and find out what is going on, I keep being told not she’s in yet (it’s 1pm) and I’ll get a call back. Eventually had to speak to one of the office people who said the vendor had accepted one of the other offers. When I complained about how badly this had been managed and how unfair it was to string people along like this, the boy on the phone literally huffed at me like a moody teenager and said it wasn’t his fault and then started whining about having to deal with the complaint, then said good bye and hung up. I would avoid this company at all costs.

5th May 2025 (1 year ago)The staff were very friendly, but the house was listed more than the initial verbal valuation which we were surprised about. Our property was perfect for a first time buyer but no viewings fitted that brief.
