8th Apr 2026 (24 days ago)Absolutely dreadful experience from start to finish. I was contacted and told that someone had tried to reach me about my enquiry a week earlier, which is quite impressive considering I had only made the enquiry three days prior. I met Ralf, at the viewing and to be fair, he was the only positive part of the entire experience—friendly and professional. I submitted an offer on Saturday and then heard absolutely nothing. By Tuesday, I had to chase them myself, only to be told “someone should have got back to you.” Not exactly the level of service you’d expect when making such an important decision. I was then informed that a higher offer had been made, so I increased mine accordingly… and once again, silence. I’ve never actually been told that my offer was unsuccessful. I can only assume it wasn’t accepted because the property has now been marked as sold on Rightmove. Communication clearly isn’t a priority here. Overall, incredibly poor service, lack of transparency, and zero follow-through. I won’t be using them again, and I certainly wouldn’t trust them to handle the sale of a property either.

From the initial meeting with Micheal we felt assured that we were being marketed at a fair value and to the right market segment. The support from Alison, Emma and Karen has been consistently professional and friendly throughout and their ongoing advice and guidance made the process reasonably straightforward. The photography and marketing materials are very professional and honest in every detail

Arranged a date, even though they were busy, they squeezed us in as it was quite urgent! Alex turned up on time and was very professional, a full report was emailed to us within 48 hours! I would also like to mention Gill who was very helpful when I asked her to change something for me, nothing was too much trouble! I would highly recommend this company to anyone that needed this type of service!

A special mention for Carola who carried out the viewings and was so respectful of our property. We had multiple offers in a difficult market and it took under 6 weeks from offer accepted to exchange - the buyers were a perfect match for our much-loved home. An excellent experience all round.

6th Apr 2026 (26 days ago)Our son purchased a flat that was being marketed by Island Homes from their branch on Dock Head Road in Chatham and from the initial viewing with Molly and the subsequent re-visits with Harry to the overall conveyancing process with Shane who was our link with the seller's solicitor; the whole process was handled with an excellent degree of professionalism and efficiency; something that can't be said for our solicitor buts that another story!!! I would certainly recommend Island Homes for any sale or purchasing enquiries.
20th Feb 2026 (10 weeks ago)We recently purchased a house listed through Lodestone, Martina was always quick to respond to our queries and was brilliant at keeping everyone in the loop during the final stages of the process. She really helped push everything through which was really appreciated. It was also really handy that they are based in Bruton. Would definitely consider using them in the future, although we won't want to think about selling anytime soon!

Paul truly goes above and beyond. A breath of fresh air to find someone who is always there on the end of the phone to answer your queries and after sales is no different he is with you every step of the way till completion. Paul has the natural ability to take any negatives that may impact your sale and turn them into positives. To get this level of service which is at least three thousand less on average than other Estate Agents is win win for me. If you want to alleviate as much stress as possible and have a positive, quick sale, then believe me they really don’t get any better than Paul Rai!!, thank me later, Jo
