8th May 2026 (19 weeks ago)All the above 'excellents' look ridiculous I know, but they accurately and honestly reflect the service that I have received from Richard James which has been nothing short of astonishing. From the very initial photographs for the advertisement to keeping me informed of viewings and confirming the results of viewings, they could not have been more attentive and considerate. In particular I must name and thank Mr James Sargeant of their Wroughton office for his dogged and persistent qualities. I live in Devon and was afraid that I might not be kept quite so well informed as a result, but I need not have worried. I continue to be delighted with Richard James performance and would urge anyone selling a property to ring them up tomorrow - or even this afternoon!

He was efficient, flexible with what worked for our home life/ work schedule and a very stress free selling process and sold our home within one day of viewings - highly recommend.
21st Aug 2026 (27 days ago)Connells Swindon Old Town went above and beyond to make our move happen. It was incredibly difficult with many stumbling blocks but Connells was always there to help.<br><br>Brandon in particular stood out, negotiating a better deal for our purchase when we were forced to take a lower offer to keep our chain intact, wrangling the various difficult parties and solicitors and always keeping me updated and in-the-know, and providing some much-needed reassurance amongst the chaos.<br><br>I'd also like to mention Holly, who, when our first sale fell through and threatened to dissolve our chain, immediately stepped in with a first-time buyer already in mind and ready to go ahead. We had a new buyer in place within a few days.<br><br>The whole team, from sign-on to admin to viewings, were nothing short of fantastic. Some people complain that estate agents aren't worth the money. I can categorically say that Connells Old Town was. We couldn't have moved without them, and I doubt another estate agent would have done anywhere near as much for us.

George and Craig were friendly, personable, and it really felt like they wanted to sell my house for me, not just for themselves. Heidi and Hollie in the office were also fantastic – always helpful and quick to respond if I needed anything.

Always dealt with any issues straight away. Being a tenant with Henwick was easier than being a homeowner because I never had to worry about anything. They just sorted everything out for me. 6th Sep 2026 (11 days ago)I would strongly advise anyone considering renting through Belvoir to think twice.<br><br>For clarity, I am a genuine former tenant writing about my own experience. I rented a flat through Belvoir from March 2026 until July 2026, and I reported the issues below to them during my tenancy. I am including specific details because I have seen responses to other negative reviews where Belvoir has questioned whether the reviewer was actually a tenant. I have no reason to write this review other than to accurately describe my experience as a tenant.<br><br>My experience with them was extremely poor. The flat I was let was in a seriously sub-standard condition, and the problems were extensive. When I moved in, it was dirty despite my having repeatedly requested a deep clean. There was grime throughout the kitchen, dirty carpets, damaged curtains, broken drawers and cupboards, windows that wouldn't close properly, a loose front-door handle, mould in the kitchen cupboards and numerous other defects.<br><br>The problems didn't stop there. The plumbing was particularly bad. The kitchen tap had extremely poor hot-water pressure and was almost impossible to regulate between hot and cold. The bathroom tap leaked, the toilet frequently blocked and the cistern was very slow to refill. The boiler was exceptionally loud and situated directly beside the bedrooms, to the point that I needed earplugs to sleep.<br><br>I reported these problems. Belvoir arranged three plumber appointments; the plumber only attended two. On both occasions he said the bathroom taps would be replaced. They never were. Instead, he tightened part of the tap, which stopped one leak but resulted in filthy water coming out of the middle of the tap when it was turned on.<br><br>There were electrical problems too. One of the larger electric hob elements would consistently trip the breaker and cut electricity to the entire flat. I eventually stopped using it. A hallway light fitting also failed completely. The light is the only thing they actually fixed.<br><br>Mould subsequently appeared in the kitchen and later on the pipes in the hallway. I reported this as well. By the end of the tenancy there were still numerous unresolved issues.<br><br>Most importantly, I had specifically told Belvoir before moving in that I needed a quiet property because I work from home. I was assured that the flat was very quiet and that nobody had ever complained about noise. In reality, there was a family with two young children directly below me and there was frequent screaming and banging throughout the day and at weekends. The noise made it extremely difficult to work from home. The Wi-Fi was also sufficiently poor between the living room and spare bedroom that it interfered with wireless headsets and made reliable internet calls from the office impossible.<br><br>I therefore asked to leave the tenancy early because the property was fundamentally unsuitable for the purpose for which I had rented it. When I spoke to Matthew, I was told that I could only leave early if I paid Belvoir £500 as an advertising fee. I was consequently left in a property I considered unsuitable for several additional months.<br><br>Overall, this was one of the most uncomfortable and poorly maintained flats I have ever lived in. What made the experience worse was not simply the condition of the property, but the way the problems were handled after they were reported.<br><br>I would not rent through Belvoir again.

He handled the sale of my house with a really high level of professionalism, I’d previously used a more traditional estate agent as I hadn’t come across EweMove, the contrast was night and day and Paul made the selling experience enjoyable.<br><br>Paul was knowledgeable, approachable and kept everything moving when it could easily have become stressful. I really appreciated his patience, communication and the way he conducted himself throughout the process.<br><br>A genuinely excellent estate agent and a real credit to the team. Thank you, Paul!

18th Aug 2026 (30 days ago)I think it depends what partnership you have, I one I had the sales pitch was great but the communication throughout once I signed up with them was terrible, at one point t after I chased and chased for feedback after 1 week after a viewing they told me I had an offer, yes it was very low, but I was never told.

She was also, extremely helpful! She answered all questions, we had and, went above ans beyond to get the answers, we were searching for! I would definitely, recommend having luisa, as your estate agent, when it comes to going through, Richard James estate agents!

He is always helpful, responsive and quick to deal with any issues that arise. Most recently, he went above and beyond to help resolve a potentially difficult access issue and ensure that some essential work could go ahead as planned. It is very reassuring to know that the property is in such helpful and reliable hands. Highly recommended.

3rd Sep 2026 (14 days ago)Exceptional Estate Agent and Agency: I have just been to a property viewing, with intent to buy, with Imogen Seymour at Romans. Both I and my sister wanted to share our appreciation for the excellent guided tour, highly informed and genuinely lovely chat we had. We have rented with Romans before for nearly a decade and now house hunting to buy, Romans have been standout above other Estate Agencies. I don't tend to write reviews but wanted to recognise Imogen for all her help. She was so enthusiastic, compassionate to the seller and agile in managing the multiple viewings with ease. We really felt in safe hands without any pressure and confidence, important to us as we have been shaken by other Estate Agencies and a property purchase that fell through at a late stage. In the future, if we sell or want to buy again a property we will come to Romans first for certain.

They projected a sense of wanting to succeed for us and they certainly did by selling our house twice. They showed an excellent market awareness which enabled us to maximise the value of our property which I don’t believe we would have achieved with another agent. Both our sales were achieved by viewings on a Sunday! They worked 8 days a week for us!
