28th Aug 2022 (3 years ago)The worst agents I have ever experienced, and I am a retired chartered surveyor with over 30 years in practice. I found them rude, disrespectful and totally incompetent. They failed to respond at all to any of the notices served on them in accordance with the term of the tenancy, I was totally ignored. When the rain came, it was obvious that the thick layers of paint hid a sorry lack of maintenance. I would not advise anyone to have any dealings with this firm in the light of this experience. They say they have a, 'Fully Managed' tenancy while the opposite is the fact.
20th Aug 2021 (4 years ago)Can honestly say in all my years of renting, Arlanda Properties have been the best. Always professional, always respond, deal with any issues pretty much straight away and great value for quality properties. Would highly recommend.
2nd Nov 2025 (21 weeks ago)About 15 years ago, I struggled to find a good, reliable letting agent — until I came across Murphy Waldron. They’ve gone above and beyond ever since, especially Marian, who has been absolutely fantastic throughout the years. I couldn’t have been in better hands!

John supported us every step of the way - keeping us up to date and explaining what was happening. His knowledge of the whole process is brilliant, and his down-to-earth approach in an industry full of hype and jargon was very refreshing! I can highly recommend his services!!

27th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)The property market would be a much better place if all estate agents were as good as this branch of John Francis. We immediately loved the only property we viewed with them. The viewing was done by Ellie who is professional and charming. Our move from Bedfordshire was stressful and fraught with complications including unreliable buyers. However, the team in Fishguard, especially Emma, did everything they could to make our dream come true.
12th Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)Edward Mellor have so much knowledge of the local area in Woodley, we felt very confident with them taking on the sale and our house sold within about a week. Super quick at getting it listed and efficient with organising viewings so we couldn’t really ask for more!
24th Apr 2024 (1 year ago)I dealt mostly with Zee and did appreciate the 'balancing act' between myself and the homeowner. Although work did need doing to update the property and I made requests for this, it was ultimately understood that the owner would not commit funds for this. I felt that Zee considered both tenant and owner needs and advocated on my behalf to discuss fair or no rental increases. At the point of the homeowner selling the property, Zee was considerate with regard to mine and my daughter's wellbeing.

7th Mar 2026 (25 days ago)I have been a tenant in a property managed by Rooftops Hale for the past 6 years and found them to be exemplary. Both with the swift resolution a couple of things I had contacted them about and with keeping the property up to date with being compliant with the safety regulations. They have been a pleasure to deal with, friendly professional and quick to respond. The contractors used by Rooftops have all been pleasant and professional and able to accommodate timing of visits to my requirements. I don't think I would have stayed as long in the property if the agents weren't as good to deal with as Angela and Karen have been.

27th Jul 2025 (8 mo. ago)Agency was great throughout our tenancy in terms of communication and maintenance. The issues I had were after we moved out when it came to our deposit. They flipped my mattress to find an old stain which they then tried to charge me for. The mattress had not been flipped before I moved in or during my tenancy so I was able to dispute this. I am a young professional and the flat was in excellent condition when we left. It needed a professional clean which I was happy to pay for. Our tenancy was for 2 years and there was a small amount of expected wear and tear (eg. a few unnoticeable marks on the walls). The agency said they needed to repaint the entire flat and took this out of our deposit. I have rented with a number of letting agents whilst living in Manchester and they were the only one who took a significant portion of my deposit.
31st Mar 2026 (1 day ago)I first approached David Davies in August 2022, when they let my property on my behalf after my employers sent me on an overseas contract at short notice. They were completely transparent with the whole process and their fully managed system left me not having to worry about my property. The tenants they found were amazing and looked after the property. They dealt with all of the legal requirements for letting; (I'd never let a property before!!) and they kept me up to date with everything. They did such a good job that when my situation changed earlier this year and I decided to sell the property, I chose them for this task too. They provided me with a first-class service and genuinely got me a higher sale price than I'd hoped for the property. What impressed me greatly was their response times to emails; even when the person that I'd emailed was out of office. (I've dealt with many organisations where you can be waiting ages for a reply!!). Someone would always pick it up and I'd get a reply extremely quickly. To Laura, Ben, Lorraine, Georgia and team; thank you very much. You're all amazing!! I'd highly recommend the David Davies team for anything property related in the area.

Paid a part deposit to secure a property we had chosen but unfortunately the landlord had a problem with the property and decided to put the house for sale, Joe gave me a full refund with no issues and was very apologetic. A day later he contact us and had found another house for us to view and even negotiated a reduced rent because he thought he let us down but hey we are better off now thanks to Joe and Susan. Professinal and good honests service. Thanks Ray & Laura
