Sean has been absolutely fantastic throughout the process of listing the property and carrying out a number of viewings. Even though my property is still to sell, she always had time to discuss the situation with me in a friendly, polite and professional manner.- 7th Sep 2026 (11 days ago)Not sure if our experience was down to the average age of the staff at the ilkeston branch of Burchell Edwards, but feel they neither managed our (Seller) or the buyers expectations during the viewings of which we had many, but no offers. On changing agents within 7days and 3 viewings we had 2 offers!!!!! I suppose the moral of this story is choose the right agent.??????

21st Apr 2026 (21 weeks ago)I have had multiple experience with the staff here and can honestly say that I would not go anywhere else. The staff are very professional, provide a great service and are very helpful and polite. Having both purchased and sold with whitegates and experienced superb service each time I though it was only fair that I shout about it so that others will know how good they really are. I only ever recommend them (and yes I have tried others in the past, my worst experience being with a company that has an X in there name). Whitegates however have and are always spot on, you wont go wrong using them. Thank you to everyone there for the years of amazing service.

It was so refreshing not to have to constantly chase for any news and they genuinely had my best interests at heart. They were always on hand with good advice and most importantly, always honest and upfront with me.<br><br>The whole process was made so much easier thanks to them. 1st Nov 2025 (10 mo. ago)Well it all started good. Then when you try to phone, your call constantly goes to voicemail. They say they return all calls, well this was not the case. At the end of the 16 week contract we split with Woodward. We thought going for a small local company would be a good idea, this was unfortunately a bad idea. We did not sell, when was got the keys returned, rather than talk to us, to have any feedback, literally they posted the keys through the letterbox and ran off. Bad experience in general. I would not recommend.

From the initial contact we found GianFranco to be efficient, professional, proactive and thoroughly pleasant. He sold our property on the day of the first set of viewings and kept us informed all the way up to completion. I could not have scripted a more stress free experience myself. There should be a five star plus rating to do justice to excellence like GianFanco’s. Thank you on behalf of our family.

17th Jul 2026 (9 weeks ago)Georgia at Belper office was absolutely brilliant. She was the only professional in our house chain that pushed to get information and get the deal over the line. One niggle is that when staff answer the phone they don’t give their name and which office they are at. It’s a bit unprofessional and you never know who you are talking to.
