27th Apr 2026 (15 days ago)I’d give 0 stars if I could, the staff are absolutely disgusting. Took over a month to get our deposit back and they are thieves the lot of them. Katie Edmond’s is the worst one with dealt with, wouldn’t reply for days when we had a question and even when she did end up replying she wouldn’t state all the facts. The only good worker there Tommy left. We were robbed of a good experience and if anyone ever is looking to private rent do NOT go with reed residental. £140 back from a £1000 deposit! When we moved in the place was awful but we had no money and needed a place to stay, we got told the fridge, washing machine and oven was a “gift” that “gift” was really just old tat that they didn’t want to have to pay to get rid of but we had to pay for all it to go because none of it worked. Don’t understand how the company is still allowed to be running but I definitely would not recommend to anyone moving into a property to use reed!!

31st Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)Absolutely amazing Morgan has been an absolute star with the process of buying our house ( hasn’t been easy with complications) But has been there every step of the way for us and couldn’t recommend anyone better she’s been absolutely brilliant and couldn’t recommend anyone enough!!!- 23rd Apr 2026 (19 days ago)After spending months searching for a place to rent and multiple landlords rejecting me, I was beginning lose hope until Emily called one morning saying she had found a place for me and my son. I was over the moon, from the first phone call to collecting the keys both Lauren and Emily were fantastic, answering all my questions in a timely manner and being honest about everything from the start, I cannot thank them enough.

5th May 2026 (7 days ago)We have been renting with William H Brown for over 5 years, and while we have worked with several people during that time, Debbie who is our main point of contact has been incredible. She is always friendly and helpful whenever we have any queries or requests, and always does her best to help us with any issues. Nothing ever seems to much for her and I would recommend solely on her professionalism alone.- 30th Apr 2026 (12 days ago)Really good service with Frank Innes and smooth procceses with renting the apartment. A little minor confusion but they handled it very well.

To their credit the house sold quick. The downside however, was the conveyancer they recommend, they were atrocious and tested our patience on more than one occasion. Beware, use a local solicitor, who you can contact easily and knows what they are doing. Italia however, was a true superstar and saved my sanity on more than one occasion, in pushing the conveyancer for answers. Thank you Italia.
7th May 2026 (5 days ago)I have been renting with the team at Rex Gooding for 4 1/2 years, and cannot recommend them enough! Every aspect of working with them was easy, comfortable, and stress-free. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and helpful team. Emma Clark and Eryn Butler in particular are absolute gems. They both have a fantastic way of making you feel looked after, combining total professionalism with genuine warmth and kindness. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they always went out of their way to help with a smile. They are a credit to Rex Gooding - thank you!

15th Apr 2026 (27 days ago)Thanks to Francesca and her letting team, including Gabrielle and Jayde for the friendly and professional service, letting out our three bedroom house in Beeston. The marketing worked well and new tenants were found within two weeks of putting the property on the market. I thought getting the house ready in time for the tenants to move in right after Easter would be a challenge, given repairs, decoration and change of carpets. It was well managed, and their contractors knew what is required for a let property and did a very good job.- 3rd Apr 2026 (6 weeks ago)Avoid!! We have had very little interaction with this Estate agent in 2 months. We were warned not to go with them, lesson learned. They are masisvely understaffed and its very rare the phone is picked up.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

22nd Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)Associate director consciously chose to breach trust rendering my relationship with the company as both a seller and buyer, completely untenable. My interests were entirely secondary as demonstrated by their actions. I received assurances they weren’t prepared to uphold, was made promises they weren’t prepared to keep and set expectations they weren’t prepared to follow through. Avoid this estate agent and use one of the many others available.

From start to finish, she has been professional, proactive, and incredibly responsive, always keeping me updated and making everything feel smooth and stress-free. She went above and beyond to chase things when needed and was always happy to explain each stage clearly, which made a huge difference as a first-time buyer. Her communication was excellent — fast, clear, and reassuring at every step. What really stood out was how approachable and supportive she was. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and she genuinely made the whole experience feel much easier than it otherwise could have been.
