From the outset, Kaine was highly professional, responsive, and clearly committed to ensuring the transaction progressed as smoothly as possible. What stood out most was his reliability and communication. He kept me consistently informed at every stage of the process, was quick to respond to queries, and was proactive in following up with all parties involved. This level of engagement made a significant difference in what can often be a complex and time-sensitive transaction. Kaine demonstrated a strong understanding of the conveyancing process and coordinated effectively between solicitors, the seller, and other stakeholders. Even when delays arose outside of his control, he remained calm, pragmatic, and solution-oriented, helping to keep momentum and avoid unnecessary hold-ups. Overall, I would highly recommend Kaine to anyone going through a property purchase. This was not an easy sale to progress, Graeme was spinning lots of plates, in a difficult chain, including keeping me up to date with information as and when I needed it. When i had questions about the process he was patient in explaining things to me. His communication via phone, voice mail and email has been first class. I would recommend Graeme Pierce and his team at Thomas Merrifield without a doubt. 100% first class service.
14th Jan 2026 (16 weeks ago)My friend and I have both rented with JCP, and while my experience was okay (which I put down to having a conscientious landlord rather than any doing of the agents themselves), I am giving a one star review because of the terrible experience of my friend with JCP and their landlord, who is the director of JCP. On leaving the property, the landlord tried to claim double the amount of the deposit in damages for false reports they had made on the final condition of the property. This was completely unjustified and was made especially painful considering the already existing issues with the property that the landlord failed to engage with them on throughout the tenancy; this all caused significant stress to my friend. I would not recommend JCP in the future because of this

31st Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)Time wasters. They don’t include pet restrictions in ads. When we ring to ask about pets, they state “pets will be considered on application”. Then once we view the property and put in an application, they state pets will not be accepted. They must get some form of commission per application…

They matched us with the perfect buyers and the sale proceeded at speed. 13th Jun 2023 (2 years ago)Hathaways took over management of our Oxford property in April this year, and so far have been a breath of fresh air - it's great to be working again with a family concern, and to feel that they care about us and our tenants. The only issue we had was that some documents were rather unclear, but they responded promptly to my feedback and updated the docs to fix this. Service has been friendly and efficient.
