10th Dec 2021 (4 years ago)While the initial engagement was positive things went downhill. The listing was incorrect on some portals and the links to the virtual tour broken. This took numerous calls to get sorted. Communication back to me following viewings was poor and despite requests for statistics regarding online adverts I only received a basic summary as a one off.
20th Jun 2026 (8 days ago)My experience with this agent has been extremely disappointing they have literally put us through hoops and loops just verifying our identity. Even using there own app which proved insufficient in their eyes confirm8ng our ID .We instructed them in April 26 and they dragged their feet. If that was not enough. They then began to do the job of a legal adviser, raising issues of name change which was completely out of their remit. They cost us months its now June 26 . Very bad experience. Their procedures and practices on ethnicity needs to be monitored.
31st May 2026 (28 days ago)I selected Dexters as I had bought the flat from them 8 years ago in Charlton and was impressed by the service I received from Demie and Maria. However the staff has completely changed since and it feels like it’s run by not so experienced people. Lot of communication errors , not following up on time . Many times I got a feeling my flat was not the priority and weekly calls felt like “tick in the box” calls where it was clearly apparent the agent was multitasking raffling papers in background while having conversation. No single point of contact who is selling the flat, being passed around agent to agent. It was evident that the communication within the team wasn’t there which affected the sale . I would not recommend dexters .

Playing games, not fufiling contracts and Oliver and manager there were engaging in clear unethical service practices and disgusting customer services carried out. They represent an dodgy estate perfectly. Nothing else positive.

From the start I was shown the property by Terry, and from there on in dealt mainly with Colin. I couldn't fault them. Any queries I had of which there were a few were sorted and dealt with. I feel I built up a good relationship with them and they went above and beyond to sort out any issues I had. I feel it was nice to work with a local independent company and to support local trade. 5 stars from me all round. Thank you Colin,Terry and your team. Many thanks

17th Jun 2026 (11 days ago)Please be wary of them when it comes to checking out of a property. I rented a flat for 6 years, never missed a months rent and always paid on time. During my final year, agent explained landlord wanted to sell property so I naturally co-operated with them to accommodate flat inspection and viewings. Unfortunately, for agent/landlord they couldn't get a buyer or many viewings for that matter. I continued to rent for remainder of my tenancy but decided it was time to move on as there were numerous issues with flat that landlord didn't want to spend money on. Jump forward to check out and agent wanted bulk of my deposit from a tenant that has rented their property for 6 years. Naturally, there would be some fair wear and tear through normal, everyday use. And to cap it all off, the landlord has put the property back on the market for sale. So please be very wary of this outfit who suddenly go very quiet and don't want to take your calls when you are just wanting to find out why you have not had your deposit returned having vacated the property. Very disappointed.

I commend the way that the lettings department and the sales department worked so closely together to get the job done. I never had to explain or repeat information already given, and you were all on top of the process the whole time. This is exceptional service.

However, Waqas always stayed on top of everything from start to finish.<br><br>He was always available, always chasing updates and always looking for solutions. There was times I know I was definitely his most demanding customers but he always remained patient and professional with us.<br><br>Highly recommended and genuinely the hardest working estate agent I’ve used.
