Even during the run up to Christmas, agent Zack Green managed to jingle every single one of my bells. Professional, patient and helpful are just three of the words which come to mind when thinking of Zack, whom I would recommend time and time again.

4th Sep 2026 (15 days ago)We have been renting a property in Walton for the past 3.5 years with Hamptons managing the property. However, the service is very dependent on the Property Manager assigned to manage the property we rent.<br>I am delighted to recognize Madeleine Turns as an excellent property manager. Always professional, dedicated, prompt and very responsive and empathetic to our needs and challenges.<br>Since she has taken over, we have been over the moon with the service we receive and are very happy engaging with her.<br>Well done Hamptons for hiring an excellent Property Manager! Please ensure you nurture and look after her as she certainly does you proud. Our experience with Hamptons has significantly improved since she has started managing our property in March of 2026.<br>Devan Raj
18th Feb 2026 (7 mo. ago)turned out to be a difficult sale due to the buyers solicitor being incompetent and unhelpful, the guys at your move were very helpful keeping up the pressure on the buyers to get the sale done and to resolve the problems that the buyers solicitors created, they were all ways there to talk to me and and keep things moving, i know that Dan the manager in the branch put a lot more effort into the sale than would normally be expected, So big thanks to Dan and his team. The only thing i would have some reservations about was their recommendation to use Homefast/PPL as my solicitors, they are cheap and work on a no sale no fee basis which is good and they are probably ok if your sale go's smoothly but i felt a bit left in the dark as they did not really keep me informed when problems and delays came up and it was not all ways easy to get in touch with them, there is very little direct contact with the solicitor appointed to your sale and the vast majority of thing are done through an online portal and not being a very competent computer user i did at times find it difficult. We got there in the end and Yourmove stuck with me and gave support all the way through so i would be happy to recommend them.

Very knowledgeable and honest to all involved parties.<br>We originally advertised our property with Purplebricks but i soon realised it was a mistake. Once moved to Winkworth our deal went through very quickly and at the right price.<br>Definitely recommended.
1st Sep 2026 (18 days ago)I cannot recommend Vanessa McCallum Estate Agents highly enough. Vanessa and her team of girls were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Nothing was ever a problem and everything dealt with in a very friendly and pleasant manner. I was kept up to date on the sale process of the property at all times. I would definitely choose them again and recommend to family and friends. A very big thank you.
3rd Jul 2026 (11 weeks ago)Very good experience at Davies Property Agents in Claygate when selling a house recently. They found a choice of buyers within a week of listing and the transaction completed without trouble within a good time frame. Davies Property, in particular George and Rocco, were incredibly helpful with providing access to the house during the purchase period for various necessary services when I was unable to attend. It really helped having a local agent who knows the area so well and provides a positive and enthusiastic interface to seller and buyer. Recommend.

16th May 2026 (18 weeks ago)Had Garnham H Bewley provide me a valuation not knowing what my house was worth after 15 years here and after some recent upgrades carried out. Very knowledgeable of the local area, on what my house was worth and what it would likely sell for. If I do decide to move I’ll definitely use them in the future. Very friendly, enthusiastic but not pushy like other agents.

23rd Aug 2026 (27 days ago)I switched to Hunters after struggling to sell my property with the initial agent. From the off the team were efficient and gained multiple viewings and subsequent offers, resulting in a fast sale. Their communication was great throughout and the sale went through seamlessly. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
20th Oct 2025 (10 mo. ago)Used Ashtons as was a prospective buyer of a property they marketed. Not so many issues with the office but the sales progression team were always quite slow to respond and could never get through to the assigned person to my case. Additionally used ashtons to sell my property and I feel compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience. The problems began immediately. The agency provided an initial valuation to secure our business in July, only to suggest a £25,000 price reduction after just one week, admitting there was no interest. Despite agreeing to the reduction, it did not correlate to an increase in activity which would lead to questions around marketing and resource as Ashtons list a lot of properties. By September, they had only managed to secure two viewings. We received absolutely no feedback from either of these viewings, despite requesting it, leaving us completely in the dark. Lastly thier fees are quite opaque and if youre new to selling read through everything very carefully. In the non flex fees there are baked in withdrawal fees that ensure ashtons get paid regardless if they sell or not. Which gives them little incentive to really push your property in my opinion. The alternative is you pay money up front to them to sell your property which is preposterous. Fundamentally all the agents use rightmove to market your property and that's where most people go to find houses. In summary: an inaccurate valuation, negligible effort, a complete lack of communication, and a devious fee structure designed to charge you even when they fail to perform.

8th Sep 2026 (11 days ago)We dealt with both owners of the company, both very professional and knowledgeable, they have considerable experience in selling houses in thei area and made us feel confident that if anyone would sell our house it was them. They make sure potential buyers have the finances to buy the house before any agreements are made and i feel that overall they gave us more assurance than some other companies do. My son bought his house through them and it was the way they ensured that the buyers did not mess about the sellers than clinched it with using them.
5th Sep 2026 (14 days ago)Very poor experience with Baker Estate.<br><br>I had a viewing booked and unfortunately I was running late. I accept that being late was on me, but I tried calling the agency around 15 minutes before the appointment to let them know and received no answer.<br><br>When I arrived, I contacted them through WhatsApp and was told to knock on the door as the agent may still be inside. She had already left. The lady I was speaking to then passed the phone to the agent, and I politely asked whether she could come back to conduct the viewing.<br><br>Her response and attitude were incredibly unprofessional and standoffish. She told me she had already waited 15 minutes. When I explained that I had tried calling beforehand, she simply told me, “No you didn’t.” I offered to send screenshots of my call history to prove that I had, but rather than acknowledging this, she said that either way she wasn’t coming back and that we could reschedule.<br><br>I asked whether it was normal procedure to leave a viewing without attempting to contact the prospective tenant first. Instead of having a professional conversation, she became argumentative and kept insisting that I should have called—even though that is exactly what I had tried to do.<br><br>I explained that I didn’t want to reschedule because the property is around 45 minutes from where I live and I had already spent my time and money travelling there. The conversation continued going back and forth and her attitude became increasingly frustrating, so I ended the call.<br><br>Ironically, around two minutes later she called me back and suddenly said she could come back after all. By that point I was already on my way to another viewing. She suggested rescheduling again, and I said “okay” out of courtesy. There was then just silence on the phone, so I said “okay, bye” and she hung up without saying anything.<br><br>I completely accept responsibility for being late. What I don’t accept is the unnecessarily confrontational attitude, being accused of lying about calling when I could prove that I had, and the general lack of professionalism throughout the interaction.<br><br>A simple phone call before leaving the property, or even a polite conversation afterwards, could have avoided the entire situation. Instead, I wasted a significant amount of time and petrol travelling there and was left with a very poor impression of the agency.<br><br>Based on this experience, I certainly wouldn’t want to deal with Baker Estate as a tenant.
