23rd May 2026 (22 days ago)I needed 3 valuations for probate. From the moment Andy came along to carry out the valuation, we knew that this was the estate agents we would engage for the house sale. The advice given to market the house was invaluable. Once Samuel's was engaged, the team at Samuel's sprung into action. We had so many viewings and offers over the first few days and settled on a perfect buyer who has now moved into the property. For the whole journey, we were kept informed, via email and regular telephone calls. So many in fact, my 5 year old grandson asked "was that your friend Karen calling Granny"! Indeed, it really felt that the whole team became friends. We had fun and banter along the way. But the end product was so professional and successful. Samuel's was the highest valuation and the house sold within 2 weeks. I asked for a recommendation for a solicitor as did the buyer. The sale went through so smoothly and took just 7 weeks. I will definitely use Samuel's again and have been just amazed at the level of service. Just thank you to the whole team. I could not be happier with the service provided.

Kept in the loop with viewings and outcomes. Very useful feedback from potential buyers. Found the Street.co.uk app good. Would definitely use McFarlane Sales & Lettings again. Tim Stanley was excellent.

I have found them to be very honest, trustworthy and knowledgeable and they are always very polite and courteous to deal with. They supported me through the whole process and were always very responsive to any questions that I had. A special thanks to Karen C, David and Abbie who all played a part in my sale and I am very grateful to the whole team.

21st Apr 2026 (8 weeks ago)Following a bereavement I had to sell the family home, I wanted a local estate agent as they know the area well. Made an appointment to meet Lewis from Connells of Plympton at the property and he went through the options we had to sell the property, we decided to go with the modern auction method which was a great time saver as probate was delayed by several months. Lewis and the Connells team, along with the auctioneer kept in touch regularly throughout, and finally with Grant of probate, we commenced the auction. Lewis handled over two dozen viewings and oversaw the reserve and liaiased with bidders, being local he knows his patch well, plus i could keep tabs on the bids via the auctioneers website, which took the pressure off myself. The auction was done within 14 days and sold to our satisfaction, which has been a huge relief. The fees involved were very reasonable also, and we are grateful to Lewis and Connells for guiding us through the process. Will complete within 56 days period as well, so an outstanding service from Lewis and Connells and it is a pleasure to highly recommend them, if you're not sure, then ask someonewho is, only takes a phone call and they're more than happy to help and they're genuinely nice people.
7th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)I recently purchase a property with the help of Gavin, and I couldn’t have asked for a better agent! Gavin was very helpful all throughout a this process. As a first time buyer, I did not know everything and had a lot of questions, but Gavin always took the time to explain everything and make sure that I had the best outcome with everything. He was very transparent, attentive and supportive all throughout this; from start to finish, he was excellent in communicating and ensuring everything was done in a timely manner. Would highly recommend, especially as a first time buyer!

27th Mar 2026 (11 weeks ago)Sarah, Adam and team have recently sold 2 houses for us, one was a nightmare tried exchanging over 4 days, then ended up exchanging and completing on one day, well done guys, highly recommended they talked me through everything and when the chain got complicated on one, Sarah explained it in a email that was easy to understand. You won’t go wrong with them, just don’t use the cheapest solicitor, our solicitor was excellent, others on the chain hmm.

18th May 2026 (27 days ago)I was a tenant in Salisbury from 2019 to 2026. The staff at the Salisbury branch are very friendly and take the time to listen to your concerns. Whenever I had something that needed fixing they would have it organized in short order. I have since purchased the property that I was renting with Goadsby acting on behalf of the seller but at the same time went the extra mile to help me to sort my side of things out. I can confirm that they were easy to deal with and I always felt like they were in my corner which made a big difference. Scott. Salisbury.
