All the Staff were very professional and we were provided with excellent customer service throughout; Sam deserves special mention. Once we had received an offer we could accept, Donna went way beyond what we could have expected. Our purchase was a private transaction so our seller wasn't using an Estate Agent. Donna effectively covered that base as well and we believe, by keeping things moving with both firms of solicitors, she enabled us to buy the flat of our dreams! We are so thankful and would firmly recommend Maslen!

From viewing to completion, they’ve been proactive, supportive and, honestly, quite a lot of fun. Special mention goes to Kate and Kay who are both brilliant. They helped us to feel reassured and calm in the face of a five-house chain and all the tribulations that came with it. Thanks team!

Throughout the process, they were incredibly helpful, responsive and patient. Despite a few stressful moments outside of anyone’s control, Dom in particular kept things moving, kept us updated and was always approachable throughout. Would absolutely recommend Jacobs Steel and we’ll definitely be using them again when the time eventually comes for us to sell. Thanks again to the whole team. Charlie & Amber

ABSOLUTELY EXCEPTIONAL – ABOVE AND BEYOND IN EVERY WAY Buying our first ever property is something we will remember for the rest of our lives, and thanks to Fox & Sons, that memory will be nothing but positive. From the very beginning right through to completion, Abigail, Kane, and Luckman were nothing short of outstanding. I genuinely cannot overstate how incredible they all were — this was a 10/10 experience in every sense of the word. As first?time buyers, we naturally went into the process feeling excited but also nervous, unsure of what to expect and worried about making mistakes. Every single one of those worries disappeared almost instantly thanks to the professionalism, patience, and genuine care shown by the team. Without a doubt the best thing about the agents are the team that do the viewings, they are great. Particularly Julia who is exactly who you want show casing your home, she is professional, warm and experienced. Julia without a doubt will sell your home to the right people.
26th May 2026 (19 days ago)I’m not normally one to leave a bad review, but I currently live in a flat within a building that this company own. The hallway and spiral staircase has had no active lighting for well over a month now which is a health hazard, not to mention when living with a partner that is mobility disabled. On top of this, the intercom buzzers do not work. We raised this in February of this year and have been chasing constantly ever since, the person that looks after our apartment has only answered his phone once in this time. Since then we’ve had the issue with the lights, have called several times and have even raised a complaint now over two weeks old and have still not heard anything back. Every time we call it’s “we’ll chase the manager” over and over again for us to simply be ignored once more. Beyond a joke at this point especially when a complaint is open and an objective health hazard is at play. Brighton is known to have some awful estate agents, but this experience has really brought that up to another level

29th May 2026 (16 days ago)The reason I decided to leave this review is because the agency is advertising the property again using misleading and outdated photos that do not represent the actual condition of the house. A responsible and reasonable agency should not continue marketing the property this way while serious issues such as damp, mould, cleanliness, and noise problems remain unresolved. There should be a zero-star option for this place. My stay at 13 Albany Road was one of the worst rental experiences I have ever had. The property should be inspected by the council for damp and mould issues. The agency is using old and misleading photos that do not reflect the real condition of the house. Do not be fooled by the advertisement. In reality, the property is dirty, noisy, poorly maintained, and nothing like the “good quality accommodation” it is presented as. I feel completely misled by the listing and would strongly advise others to think carefully before renting here.

The sale went through reasonably quickly and they found a very suitable buyer to take over our treasured house. I would certainly recommend Leaders and use them again myself, when required.

8th Jun 2026 (6 days ago)We have managed to get my purchase (no chain) done in a matter of around 6 weeks and Jacobs Steel's Richard Weatherall was instrumental in this. He kept up communications between the seller and the solicitors and ensured me and the seller got everything we needed to do done in a timely way. I'm grateful for a largely stress-free transaction (which I frankly haven't been able to say for the other agencies I have used recently). Damien and his team also managed the viewings process and price negotiation effectively.
