11th Sep 2025 (10 mo. ago)A few days ago, I visited a rental property and had a friendly conversation with Louise Pasker, the Lettings & Valuations Manager. We explored the house and talked about various topics. She promised to send my partner and I the necessary form, but she never did. My partner and I spoke more about the property the following day to weigh the pros and cons of the property. We were hesitant to commit to a home without thorough consideration. After really thinking it through and not just taking the property to have a home. Not one we didn’t find suited. It is unfortunate that Louise Pasker failed to provide the requested paperwork (if we were interested which last she heard we possibly interested) and did not respond to my partner’s email the day after. It is possible that she is experiencing annoyance, illness, or is part-time. In the event of illness, emails should be passed over to another colleague. If she is part-time, emails should also be passed over too. Regardless of her circumstances, it is unprofessional to: 1. Not reply to an email (in the email my partner also asked if they’re any other properties they have) 2. To not even send the forms she said she’d do Also, my partner sent another email today. Asking if Louise had seen the last email. Had no reply. It is very unprofessional to ignore someone’s emails that is asking questions.

12th Jul 2026 (22 days ago)We recently completed our home purchase, and we feel incredibly lucky to have had Ben guiding us through the process. Throughout the entire journey, he was exceptionally helpful, proactive, and responsive. He bridged the communication between us and the seller flawlessly, making what could have been a stressful experience run smoothly. We truly appreciate all his hard work and dedication.<br><br>The only negative aspect of our experience was dealing with Lifetime Legal, the third-party company Chancellors uses for AML checks. Right after our offer was accepted, while we were already managing a heavy flow of communication between the estate agent, solicitor, and mortgage broker, we were subjected to aggressive marketing tactics from Lifetime Legal. It felt overwhelming and unnecessary at such a busy time. I sincerely hope Chancellors considers finding a more customer-friendly AML check solution in the future.<br><br>That being said, every other member of the team we interacted with, both at the Thatcham office and the Chancellors headquarters, was highly professional, skilled, and efficient. Aside from the third-party AML check experience, the service provided by Chancellors was excellent, and I would gladly recommend them.<br>Thank you to everyone involved, and a special thanks to Ben!

From the initial discussions, through viewings and negotiations and finally progress chasing an arduous chain Jacob, Alison and Rob worked tirelessly to ensure that I could sell my house and move on.<br>I recommend anyone selling a property in the Bramley, Tadley areas to use Belvoir. From the very first conversation right through to the end of the process, she has been absolutely fantastic.<br><br>I had several estate agents contacting me, but Tildey immediately stood out. She was always professional, polite, friendly, and genuinely cared about helping me find the right property. She made what can be a stressful process feel smooth and straightforward, and because of the excellent service she provided, I chose to work with her over everyone else.<br><br>Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she was always happy to answer my questions and keep me updated. I would recommend Tildey over any other estate agent without hesitation. Thank you so much for all your help!

I cannot rate or recommend them highly enough - Lorraine really went over and above for us, staying on top of people who needed a chase (which was quite a bit with our purchase) - she'd regularly done the chasing before I even needed to ask, she helped us following a survey, and ensured we secured the completion dates we needed. She was highly responsive, even replying outside of office hours! She made the whole process as smooth as possible. The service from start to finish felt personal - we felt valued and really looked after throughout. We moved from London so are totally new to the area and Lorraine has already offered to help with any queries or recommendations we have about Newbury or the property. 10/10 in every way - thank you again to the team at H&W!

20th Jul 2026 (14 days ago)Couldn’t recommend Parker’s more. I used them to sell my property and they were top draw from start to finish. They say moving house is stressful but after a year long transaction I wasn’t expecting it to be that stressful! Massive shout out to Emma who at times genuinely stopped me from walking away! She was great at not only progressing my sale but helping me with my own purchase with a different estate agent which was above and beyond the expectation of her!<br><br>Also want to call out Charlie and his team who were great at handling potential buyers. They kept me informed on viewings but also did a great job keeping my buyer in check during the earlier stages of the transaction as well! Overall it felt like a real partnership throughout and I appreciated the support provided from all members of the team!<br><br>With the amount of time and effort spent on this I genuinely don’t think they made money from the transaction and the service provided never wavered.<br><br>Thanks again all can safely say wouldn’t have moved without you!

Thanks to Luke and Dan’s proactive and strategic approach to marketing, our property was actually sold prior to going on Rightmove, before photos were even taken!<br><br>Once the sale was agreed, the exceptional service continued. Chanelle kept us promptly updated throughout the entire transaction, ensuring everything progressed smoothly and keeping our minds at ease.<br><br>We have nothing but good words to say about the entire team. We highly recommend Parker’s, and we will definitely be using them again in the future!- 28th Jul 2026 (6 days ago)I would strongly caution landlords, tenants, and prospective clients before engaging Chancellors for property management.<br>My experience has been marked by poor communication, rigid and questionable fee practices, and a lack of transparency—particularly around statutory repairs and contract terms. Essential repairs (including sanitation and plumbing issues) were significantly delayed despite funds being provided, with no clear or committed timelines given. Information provided to me as the landlord was also inconsistent with what tenants were being told directly, which created unnecessary confusion and frustration for all parties.<br><br>I made repeated, good?faith attempts over an extended period to resolve these issues constructively and proportionately. Unfortunately, each attempt was met with a hard, inflexible position rather than meaningful engagement or resolution. I am happy to share the full written correspondence if required, as all communication was conducted professionally and in writing.<br>I also encountered repeated assertions that a management agreement could not be terminated at the end of a tenancy, despite the landlord–agent contract being separate from the tenancy agreement. Requests for written clarification, timelines, and handover processes were met with vague or contradictory responses rather than clear, professional guidance.<br>Fees were applied to mandatory statutory repairs by reclassifying them as “refurbishment” purely based on cost thresholds, without itemisation or meaningful explanation.<br><br>When these points were challenged—politely and with reference to the relevant legislation—the response remained dismissive and inflexible, rather than transparent or customer?focused.<br>Overall, the experience felt adversarial rather than collaborative, with more emphasis on enforcing fees and retaining control than on effective property management or fair treatment of landlords and tenants.<br><br>Based on my experience, I would not recommend Chancellors to landlords seeking clear communication, timely repairs, or a professional and balanced managing agent relationship.<br><br>A quick update for the team here I’ve reached out to Chancellors directors organisation as per note below over a dozen times now no one from our organisation has contacted me. I’ve offered email addresses and phone numbers so their address is complete lip service. Should any perspective landlords have any concerns about this organisation please do reach out to me. As I will happily share with you a copy of all my correspondence is with Chancellors begging for them to interact with me to help resolve the challenges their customer service is completely atrocious. I would strongly recommend looking at other organisations.

Always dealt with any issues straight away. Being a tenant with Henwick was easier than being a homeowner because I never had to worry about anything. They just sorted everything out for me. Thank you guys!
