The entire end-to-end process was smooth, efficient, and well explained step by step. The property was professionally cleaned and met a high standard. Everything was handled properly, and we are very satisfied with the experience.

I honestly could not have asked for a better team than the wonderful people at Frost in Gerrards Cross, especially Sonia. From day one, Sonia was incredibly patient, supportive, knowledgeable, and approachable. No matter how many questions I had or how stressed I became during the process, she was always there for me. If I couldn’t reach her immediately, she always got back to me within minutes. She stayed in constant contact throughout the entire journey and followed every single detail with amazing care, precision, and professionalism. The process ended up being much longer than I had expected, but Sonia never once made me feel like a burden. She constantly checked in on me, supported me emotionally as well as professionally, and genuinely cared about how I was coping with the stress of it all. She truly became my rock during this process. I also want to say a very special thank you to Richard and Matthew, who were equally kind, patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful, especially when Sonia was away on holiday. Shash came highly recommended by a friend, and I’ve been very happy with her service. She showed me a selection of her own listings with Douglas & Gordon?, as well as properties listed through other agents within her network. The flat we found was exactly what I had been looking for. I am now back on the market for a London pied-à-terre and look forward to working with Shash again, as she is exactly the kind of realtor I was hoping to find.

From the beginning, they were professional, responsive, and genuinely attentive to my needs. Odessa in particular was outstanding, knowledgeable about the Kensington market, proactive throughout the process, and always available to answer questions promptly. Their communication was clear and reassuring, which made what can often be a stressful experience feel smooth and well managed. I especially appreciated her honesty, attention to detail, and commitment to finding the right outcome rather than simply rushing a deal through. I would happily recommend them to anyone buying, selling, or renting in the area.

We had had a bad experience with another agent before switching to Martyn Gerrard and we really noticed the difference in how we were treated and how they worked with us. Useful feedback was given after every viewing and we really felt like they were on our side and trying to get the best outcome for us (and not just push us to sell as quickly as possible to get them their commission). I would definitely use Martyn Gerrard again.

They worked very hard to promote our property in a difficult market and achieved what seemed a reasonable sale price. We particularly liked their calm, un-pushy approach, and how helpful David was with both our sale and ongoing purchase. Highly recommended.

So much better than the estate agent I was selling with, which was one of the big London agents and really didn't care. You could tell that Mark's clients matter to him. If I sell this house in future, I will 100% be using David Evans & Co to sell it.

13th Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)I would strongly advise people to avoid V&A Properties at all costs. In my experience, this company is not who they present themselves to be. I have had a property with them since the 1st of April. From the beginning, I was pressured with constant phone calls to sign the contract and tenancy agreement. There were known issues with repairs in the property, but I was told that tenants were happy to decorate and accept the condition, which led me to proceed with signing the tenancy agreement. We went ahead and installed brand new appliances through Currys — including a washing machine, fridge, electric hob, and oven. We even paid an additional fee for professional installation, all completed and signed off by Currys installers. However, two weeks later, I was informed that the property was “not certified” and that tenants could not be placed there. When I asked what exactly was not certified, I was told that the cooker needed to be a freestanding unit. Without consulting me or getting my approval, they arranged for an electrician to carry out work and then sent me a bill of £1,400. Their communication has been extremely poor throughout. They also claimed they had emailed me over the weekend and that I had agreed to pay for this work. When I questioned this, it became clear that the email had just been sent at that moment, yet they were trying to say I had already agreed. From my experience, this company operates unprofessionally and without proper communication. They made decisions without my consent and then expected me to cover the costs. Please avoid this company if you can and look for a more reliable estate agent. I am now seeking legal advice
