6th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Avoid at all costs Horrific experience with this letting agent. They would never reply to any emails about work needing to be done. However if they needed something they would expect me to reply straight away. For months I asked if something could be done over the flooring as it was so poorly fitted and a huge trip hazard, we had a child in the house. They refused to fix the floor but tried to take my deposit to replace it once I left. The DPS obviously didn't agree to this as the flooring was in such poor condition on commencement of the tenancy. I feel sorry to whoever has moved into the property as it was in desperate need of decorating. I think the landlord had tried to do odd jobs themself but clearly wasn't very skilled. The car park was also underwater due to the biggest pothole I have ever seen. We only lived in the property for a year because we couldn't cope with the lack of communication. Our current letting agent and all previous have been amazing so we weren't expecting such a poor experience.
2nd May 2026 (6 weeks ago)I had an excellent experience with Your Move (Tunstall branch) estate agents. They were professional, friendly and always kept me updated through the process. What really stood out was their communication, they responded quickly to any questions and made sure I understood every step, as the solicitors I was using at the time not very responsive. They also went above and beyond to keep everything running smoothly, which made a potentially stressful situation much easier. I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a property and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future

From the outset, Gags took the time to explain everything in clear, straightforward terms, making what can often be a complicated process easy to understand. He carefully talked me through all the available options, including when and how to sell and provided a realistic and honest valuation of my property based on current market conditions. What really stood out was his professionalism, expertise and extensive knowledge of the property market. His wealth of experience was evident throughout our conversation and it was reassuring to know that he has strong connections within the wider industry. Gags was friendly, approachable, calm and genuinely listened to my circumstances. At no point did I feel pressured. Instead, I felt he was representing my interests as an individual and helping me make the right decision for my situation, rather than focusing on just selling. He was also completely transparent about fees and costs, which I greatly appreciated. His honesty and integrity gave me confidence and trust in the advice he provided. I would highly recommend Gags to anyone considering selling their property and looking for professional, knowledgeable and genuinely client-focused advice.

When my payment was due to be returned, I had to send more than 20 emails and make over 100 phone calls before I finally received my money back after 6 months. Based on my experience, I strongly do not recommend this agency. Please be very careful before dealing with them. Kind regards, Junaid Khan
