6th May 2026 (12 weeks ago)Avoid at all costs Horrific experience with this letting agent. They would never reply to any emails about work needing to be done. However if they needed something they would expect me to reply straight away. For months I asked if something could be done over the flooring as it was so poorly fitted and a huge trip hazard, we had a child in the house. They refused to fix the floor but tried to take my deposit to replace it once I left. The DPS obviously didn't agree to this as the flooring was in such poor condition on commencement of the tenancy. I feel sorry to whoever has moved into the property as it was in desperate need of decorating. I think the landlord had tried to do odd jobs themself but clearly wasn't very skilled. The car park was also underwater due to the biggest pothole I have ever seen. We only lived in the property for a year because we couldn't cope with the lack of communication. Our current letting agent and all previous have been amazing so we weren't expecting such a poor experience.
1st Mar 2025 (1 year ago)Carter & King have been very professional and helpful to us throughout the process. Their team all seems to know what is going on and can help with any enquiry, but they didn’t tell us when to expect to hear from them and kept us waiting a few days, so we were chasing for updates. They did then start contacting us sooner after viewings. Overall, fairly pleased. Their brand and professionalism is good, would be even better if they were clearer about communicating.

Would definitely recommend using if you want a more personal service with weekly updates and a dedicated person like Gags on hand to contact when required

I was very happy with the service provided by James who provided me with a honest valuation of my house and also thank Joel Kordan the sales negotiator for keeping me informed throughout the selling process. Sadly on this occasion I was not able to sell my house because of a negative survey on the property I was buying.

Everything was clearly explained to us at each stage, which really helped put our minds at ease. Adam in particular was brilliant. Always approachable, responsive and happy to answer all our questions, even after completion. I give them 5 stars, and would give more if I could. In summary they go above and beyond, are professional, highly responsive, and deeply knowledgeable. Cannot recommend them enough.

Thank you for taking the time to reply but looking at your previous responses to other disgruntled customers, you appear to be not the best at taking criticism nor accepting poor performance on your part. 24th Aug 2022 (3 years ago)Found them to be extremely arrogant, who complains about a purchasers solicitor being on holiday in the middle of the school holidays. Obviously never sold a property in the summer before. Then expects the purchaser to let the vendor to be able to enter the property after contracts and payment have been made. Typical expectation of estate agents, middle men who do nothing and treat purchasers like dirt. Can't wait for the housing market to stop and the boot is on the other foot, and estate agents have to earn a living.- 26th May 2026 (9 weeks ago)We have used this company for managing the letting of our properties and we are extremely happy with the service. 18th Jul 2026 (11 days ago)I am very disappointed with how this purchase was handled.<br><br>It became clear that your focus was largely on the seller’s interests rather than ensuring a fair and transparent process. While I understand your role, there is still an expectation of honest and professional negotiation.<br><br>The property required significant work, yet our attempts to negotiate based on its condition were dismissed without meaningful discussion. Instead of acting as an intermediary, it felt as though unrealistic expectations were being reinforced.<br><br>We invested considerable time, money, and emotion, but our concerns about the property’s condition and associated risks were not taken seriously.<br><br>Overall, the experience lacked transparency and fairness, and it was difficult to feel that our position was properly represented. I would struggle to recommend your agency and hope future buyers receive a more balanced and honest service.
