It was naturally a huge milestone and a bit emotional for us, but their steady guidance made what could have been a stressful process feel completely manageable.<br><br>The communication from start to finish was exceptional. We were impressed right from our initial meeting with Lucy Golton, who set a clear and confident direction. That high standard continued seamlessly through all our interactions with Jenna Pinkney, whose constant updates and guidance kept everything running smoothly. Even when Jenna was away on leave, Amelia Grima stepped in without missing a beat and kept the momentum going completely hassle-free.<br><br>That level of teamwork, continuity, and genuine care made a world of difference to us. When things got a bit delayed with the solicitors, max the one who was dealing with my property had stepped in to chase everything up. wouldn't hesitate to recommend them very lovely staff.

I regret not choosing them to sell our house, but after how our purchase was handled I will definitely be using them in the future! My name was used incorrectly on an email and document. I also had a viewing, but no one turned up. I contacted WHB and was told that they did know that the viewing was cancelled, but forget to communicate this to me. My overall experience was ok.

He took the time to clearly explain the entire process, showed us the absolute best options for our situation, and successfully secured our mortgage with zero stress.<br>I also want to give a huge mention to Evie from the estate agency side. She was incredibly helpful and patient, taking us to see a lot of properties. Even though we ultimately found our dream house elsewhere, Evie’s fantastic customer service really stood out. Exceptional team all around—thank you so much!

Andrew (sales progressor) never heard of his role - yet now i have been dealing with Andrew - all estate agents should have this role, to keep things (progressing) and smooth for all involved. Thanks to you all. No wonder there are now so many Redbrik signs around my end - i will recommend. Sarah

20th Jul 2026 (15 weeks ago)Having known people who have successfully sold through Symonds and Greenham and being impressed by their social media marketing they were my first choice of estate agents. Sadly my experience was not positive from the point of signing up onwards. Lack of communication throughout, photos taken for the listing but then nothing went out on social media and when I queried was told ‘that needed a different camera’ Why not do the two together instead of putting me to the bother of getting the house perfect for a second time, the video was never done at all despite several enquiries. Viewings were not always fed back in a timely manner, occasions I’ve just had to find out visiting the dashboard which often was not updated, other times it’s simply been a text message which I find incredibly rude. I’m the customer at least make the effort to speak to me rather than a cold text. Sadly due to all this and nearly a year on the market the house is still not sold and I ultimately made the decision to give notice to them. Would I recommend them, sadly no I would not!

There were various bits of work which needed doing before the tenants moved in and Sian arranged and co-ordinated it all on my behalf. She carried out numerous viewings to ensure the right tenants were found and ensured the application process went quickly and smoothly, all the while keeping me fully up to date. Couldn't ask for more. A very comprehensive and thorough service. I feel reassured knowing Sian will be managing the property for me throughout the tenancy and beyond.
16th Oct 2026 (14 days ago)*EDIT to respond to owner*:<br><br>As suspected, as with the additional drone footage photos which were only added AFTER we complained, they have once again lied about us being supplied footage of our home being locked. This categorically has never been sent to us. It just goes to show how far this company will go to protect their reputation, completely and utterly lying stating they have evidence that they gave us. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN.<br><br>It isn't just the one agency that warned us, it was every single agent in the Holme Valley area - they are getting quite the name for themselves and we can absolutely verify that multiple other agents have stated many of their clients have come to them as a direct result of Home & Manor's failings.<br><br>It is just lie upon lie upon lie, I cannot actually believe they are getting away with it as they are.<br><br>Avoid Home & Manor at all costs. An utterly incompetent and unprofessional estate agency.<br><br>After four months of dealing with Home & Manor, we have finally moved to another estate agent. Our experience has been nothing short of appalling, and we deeply regret not listening to the warnings we received before signing with them.<br><br>Communication is dreadful, and the sheer level of incompetence suggests a poorly trained, understaffed business incapable of delivering even the most basic customer service.<br><br>Just some examples of what we've experienced:<br><br>- Viewings: They waited over a week to inform us that a viewing scheduled for the following day had been cancelled, despite admitting they'd known all along. Not even an apology.<br>- Organisation: Staff seemingly have no idea what's recorded on their own system, including viewing feedback we'd already seen ourselves.<br>- Broken promises: The service promised during the owner's initial sales pitch was completely different from what was delivered.<br>- Drone photography: After chasing for SIX WEEKS during the summer, we were told the weather hadn't been suitable. When the photographs finally appeared, there were just two poor-quality images. After questioning this, another two suddenly appeared, which they then insisted had been there all along, which was not the truth.<br>- Property security: Our home was left unlocked, a serious failing they subsequently denied.<br>- Management: The owner is readily available when securing your business, but once you've signed, getting hold of them to escalate problems is another story. Ignored calls, excuses and zero accountability.<br>- Social media: Despite promising frequent promotion and boasting about their social media presence, our property was posted just TWICE in four months.<br><br>What makes this agency particularly infuriating is their attitude when confronted with their failings. Rather than accepting responsibility, apologising or resolving issues, they argue relentlessly, seemingly more concerned with protecting their reputation than actually selling homes.<br><br>We've since been told they've lost five properties from their listings in just two weeks. Although we cannot independently verify the circumstances, given our experience, it wouldn't surprise us.<br><br>I fully expect their response to this review to be the usual carefully worded damage limitation, claiming they've spoken to us, apologising that they haven't met our expectations and denying responsibility. We've heard it all before. Even when presented with evidence, they would rather argue than acknowledge their mistakes. Any apology at this stage feels utterly insincere.<br><br>In our experience, Home & Manor are far more interested in securing your business than delivering the service they promise once you've signed. Selling a home is stressful enough without constantly chasing your estate agent, checking their work and fighting to get the basics done.<br><br>We've wasted four months dealing with broken promises, incompetence and unnecessary stress. Thankfully, we've now gone elsewhere.<br><br>Please do your research, read the negative reviews and think very carefully before trusting Home & Manor with the sale of your home. We wish we had. Save yourself the stress and go elsewhere.

It was quite stressful as we had to exchange and complete on the same day, but we managed in the end and we're happy with everything. Tarley was professional and courteous and helpful and did a fantastic job. She is a real credit to William H Brown.
