We live outside the UK, but Oakmans managed to gain access to the property and show potential buyers around with no fuss. Their valuation proved to be more accurate and optimistic than other agents that we tried, so we ended up with a good offer. Their fee was also the best that we were offered.

6th Nov 2023 (26 weeks ago)(Posting under another name for my own safety) Had the worst experience with these letting agents. Flat was given to us in a horrifying state, with old tenants furniture scattered around the place and dust, spiders and silverfish roaming the kitchen and the bathroom. Impolite staff and gave us late responses during our tenancy, while having the audacity to charge us for things that were not in the contract or mentioned beforehand.

Very helpful staff. They manage the property I am renting and so far I am happy. They have a really nice online portal for managing your rent agreement.

12th Apr 2024 (21 days ago)We were very fortunate to have found Davidsons Estate Agents last year and we hired them to rent out our property in Birmingham City Centre after which I engaged them to sell the property. The property manager Johnathan Smith has done an excellent job less than 2 months we have a buyer and are happy with the price he has achieved. I would highly recommend both the rental and sales aspects of their business Sean Boyle. BEM.

28th Mar 2019 (5 years ago)The owner of this letting agent literally assaulted me and my friend when we went in to complain about a faulty dishwasher in his flat a few years back. Also, when he moved out of that flat it took them almost a year to pay them back his deposit - they made absolutely no attempt to pay to to him until he literally went in to force them to do it, with the threat of legal action. AVOID!!!!

30th Jun 2023 (10 mo. ago)In a word ((Scammers)) Why? They will over price your property rent. However, most do that then naturally one would have to haggle them down. Not sure if there is a landlord as it might be themselves pretending there is one! And if there is a landlord the landlord has no idea what these guys do!!!!! You have your contract fees which you pay every month. But then they try and scam all there clients with made up fees! Theses are normally around £40 they say it's for water and heating. However that is covered in your contract fees!!!!!! They pocket these fee if you don't pay it and tell them you will only pay what's on the contract then they can't do anything. If your building has parking and they also want that payment separate from your contact that is also a scam!!!!!!! Don't fall victim to these guys. If you have paid them these fees for years then get that money back. Take them to court if you must. However, don't let them get away with this bad practices!!!!!!
7th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)We have just started renting through Rhubarb and have had a great first experience. A few minor admin errors but everyone has been very responsive, kind and welcoming. Tom has been great with working around our plans and being flexible!
1st Jun 2022 (1 year ago)I have made a big investment with Alesco and they absolutely let me down. They provided very poor investment advice which resulted in a big financial loss. I doubt if I ever get my money back. Additionally, some 30 investors that were invested in the same investment had big financial loss as well. The business model of Alesco is based on very aggressive marketing. They put much pressure on you to buy, and the only thing they care about is sales at the expense of the investor. They are immoral and do not care about you and your hard earned money. I have been trying to reach out and talk to them but they avoid and lie to me systematically. I left another review in the past which was positive, but it was very early on and before I realised what is going on and lost my money. Never invest with Alesco.

Suggest to avoid buying properties/ renting via this agent if you are landlord/ tenant. Unpleasant experience.

14th Nov 2021 (2 years ago)We were about 5 minutes late for a viewing because of the traffic when I managed to reach them on phone. I apologised and said we'd be there soon. They said the agent only waits 10 minutes, so they have to speak to him. After another 5 minutes they called me back and said the agent already left for another viewing. My wife was literally next to the house but as no-one was there,it was dark already and she didn't know which house it is without any lights. I told them it took us around 1.5 hours to get there with our 1yo baby and I don't think this is fair. We'd been still in the property even if we were on time. The agent finally came back and showed the house. He said he already changed his shoes as he was wearing a flip-flop because he went went home.
1st Feb 2024 (13 weeks ago)I had a very easy-going and straightforward letting experience with Amber Court Lettings. The communication was fast, clear, and very accommodating to my time limitations. Both Charlotte and Matt were great and I'd highly recommend Amber Court Lettings for other tenants!

From the viewing with Naomi, to then communicating with Blythe, Michelle and Naomi over phone and email. Thank you for a great experience :)
