6th Oct 2026 (24 days ago)Overall I was satisfied with the service as Henley Charles sold my property relatively quickly. I was less impressed with the initial valuation which I felt was inflated. The property eventually sold for £30k less than the valuation they provided. Communication on the whole was good when I could get through to them but there were times when the phone just rang out. I feel a dedicated receptionist would be helpful to alleviate these issues. The team members were all personable and knowledgeable. I would recommend Henley Charles to others as their fees are reasonable and the after sales process was very good indeed.

30th Sep 2026 (30 days ago)This is the first estate agent I have ever rented with that I would actively and enthusiastically recommend to other people. At every stage the team have been both professional and personable. Over the 3 years I rented my flat, I found myself pleasantly surprised many a time by handling situations with care for myself and my partner as well as their responsibilities in managing the flat on behalf of our late landlord.<br>I feel like it shouldn't be so rare to find such a genuinely excellent all-round agency like this. Regardless, I can promise you this unicorn is real!<br>Many thanks to Charlotte who handled our end of tenancy inspection expertly and with a couple shared laughs.

22nd May 2026 (23 weeks ago)I had to keep contacting them to find out what was going on. Didn’t always respond to emails and phone calls. Had viewings but they didn’t seem to follow through with due diligence. Poor customer service. Changed agents after 6 months with them and sold within 2 weeks.

From the very beginning, their service was outstanding. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process, with prompt responses to every query and regular updates at each stage of the sale. What impressed me most was their professionalism, efficiency, and dedication to keeping everything moving smoothly. From accepting the offer to exchange and completion, the whole process took just 8 weeks, which exceeded my expectations. The team was always approachable, knowledgeable, and willing to help, making what can often be a stressful experience feel straightforward and well-managed. Laughable lack of communication. I can't even say that they are refusing to return the deposit, or made up an excuse to avoid doing it, as they have dropped all communications entirely.

22nd Aug 2026 (10 weeks ago)Very poor customer service and inconsistent information shared by staff. I would not reccomend for tenants, they are very difficult to receive a response from. Ensure everything is in writing for your own records.<br><br>I asked repeatedly for information on my deposit return and was told it would be given back within 30 days of leaving the property. Only after this month had passed, Sunny attempted to blame me and one of the other girls leaving the property for not resolving this sooner, despite my repeated attempts. He then attempted to retain my full deposit and the deposit of the new tenant for the same room.<br><br>Absolutely disgusting customer service for something they failed to process in due time and maintain clear and consistent records with the outgoing tenants and the new tenants.

They would book in viewings without even liaising with us which meant bookings got cancelled and prospective buyers annoyed and frustrated. Removed from market with Oakmans due to the amount of viewings we have was very small. Never received feedback after viewings.

He was highly organised, incredibly knowledgeable, and clearly carried out thorough research before offering advice - everything was backed by insight, rather than guesswork.<br><br>His communication was excellent throughout the entire process: responsive, transparent, and professional. What impressed me most was the personal service. Unlike my previous experiences with larger high-street and franchise estate agents, I never felt like just another client.
